Eric Carmen, the lead singer of the Raspberries who became a successful solo artist in the 1970s and 80s, has died at age 74, according to his wife.
Carmen was known for legendary hits like "All By Myself" and "Hungry Eyes," which was featured in "Dirty Dancing."
Amy Carmen, former 3News meteorolgist, shared the news with a note posted to the singer's website.
She ended the note with "Love Is All That Matters… Faithful and Forever," a reference to Carmen's 1977 ballad "Love Is All That Matters" from the album "Boats Against the Current."
