This webcast highlights recent studies that reveal a novel mechanistic link between intestinal microbiota and the development of cardiovascular disease. Research suggests that gut microbiota may participate in the pathogenesis of cardiometabolic diseases, and the intestinal microbiome may serve as a potential therapeutic target for the treatment and prevention of CVD.
