I was watching Mlb Network and Harold Reynolds said he doesn't buy into the Guardians because they play in the Central but he likes their style of baseball. The Guardians have played more games out of the division so far this year and what does he mean their style of play they slug this year right? It's clear these so called analysts don't even watch the games.

I'm invested in the Guardians but I do agree with Harold Reynolds but not with his reasoning. We need more dominant starting pitching if we are going to compete in the playoffs. Right now no matter who we played in the playoffs we would HAVE to win the game started by Bibee because we don't have any other pitchers that can even come close to dominating teams like the Yankees and the Orioles. When the temperatures drop and the balls don't travel as far in the air we simply don't have the offensive power to compete without pitching that is keeping the scores low. Teams will simply pitch around Ramirez and dare the rest of the lineup to beat us.

I just love what the "Indians" are doing this year...even with Shane Bieber on the DL, we've gotten good pitching and, man!, can these guys hit! So far, they've beaten all comers except the Yankees and, mysteriously, the Astros (who seem to have turned it around though). I really hope that we can sustain this and prove that a "small market" team can still win by doing it the right way...Go Tribe!!!
