Great review mang! Yeah, I've been using them since the beginning of the year, I believe we chatted about them a while back comparing them to the Sennheisers lol, but one key reason why I prefer these Xvives, and is something that you forgot to mention, is that if your gig is going for over 5 hours and the juice is running low on these devices, you can actually charge them up while they are on and keep the party going! Yup!, but you'll have to buy a couple battery packs with extra micro-USB to USB-A cables to plug them in or plug them in directly to the wall with the cables on a 5V USB power adapter. I used them this past Saturday for a private party but the gig went passed 5 hours and the juice was running low on all four of them. Luckily I purchased 2 extra micro-USB cables with a pair of battery packs to plug the receivers directly into each battery pack that I gaffed taped to each speaker, and the transmitters to a duo USB power cube and that kept the party going!! (because yes just like you, I'm trying to go completely wireless to make the load outs faster! lol) I'm just disappointed that if I had just waited, I would have gotten them for a lot cheaper, I paid about $299 for the pair earlier this year, and just like the Air-Force One's, I had to buy two pairs! lol But my ROI has been great with them! lol!.. I'm also a big fan of them. Oh & one more thing, as long as you keep them in line of sight with each other, there are hardly any dropouts with the signal! Love the Xvives U3's! Sincerely, #MyDudeTheDj.

I had these and sent them back after one use because I was getting some interference when I placed them around a corner, behind what may have been a cement pillar. The dropouts would happen as people were blocking them. Not a lot, but enough for the guys at the photo booth to catch it when I asked them about it. FYI the sound quality was perfect when it worked. I was using it as a satellite speaker during reception for dinner music and speeches because the room was configured weird and this helped for a more even sound. I'm still on the hunt for a more prefect solution but I may give these another shot. When I originally got mine they were about $200, so yeah that's a great discount right now. Can you run 2 receivers off 1 transmitter? Looking to use it for side fill. And is the battery only 5 hours?
@ClevelandTerry Жыл бұрын
Yes you can and it’s 5-6 hrs depending on distance etc.

Bro if u had an spare not using the xvive can I have thanks.

they need to release a new unit that possibly is battery swappable. another thing is the 2.4 Ghz here in the UK is like over crowded so chance of interference is very high. other than that very good product hesitating to buy at the moment though.

I wonder is there any latency or delay when you scratching like Bluetooth
@ClevelandTerry2 жыл бұрын
You need the wireless headphone version. Still 5ms which is negligible

CT/All - Anyone used Dillinger Labs Dani & Streetheart Transmitter/Receiver units? Phil Morse (DDJT) reviewed w/hi marks. Spendy but rated +-80 meters (260 feet) w/low latency.
@ClevelandTerry2 жыл бұрын
There website says, Up to 50 meter reliable indoor range with the included +2 dBi antenna

@@ClevelandTerry Saw 80 meters somewhere w/longer antennas. Maybe Crossfader review.?.? XVIVE U3 website says 27.5 (90'). But the cost is much less. Is XVIVE latency an issue for booth monitor when beat mixing? I'll likely purchase XVIVE for 2 satellite spkrs. Let u know how they work. Thanks for putting this out!
