I have these and never intend on using them more than 20-30' from my booth. They are easy and mean no more cables. If I need greater range for something, I will find another solution but for main speakers that are close to the booth, why not?

Thanks for watching! oh wow how long have you been using them for your mains? Any issues with them so far?

I'm trying to find information on the range and quality of the audio over wireless but can't find many answers, would you say this would be good for short range recording into a zoom recorder from the dj mixer? Just trying to remove the cable from the equation.
@MrMaui38Күн бұрын
@@jagdteaguer I think it’s better for live audio purposes where audio quality isn’t as important rather than recording into a recorder where audio quality will be important and you will be able to hear the issues more!

@@MrMaui38 Yeah I'll probably stick to an xlr for now, my weird situation is that I am using a zoom Q8n-4k video camera (that has a full 2ch zoom recorder built in) and I wanted to be able to put the camera either on the booth or behind the talent and avoid having to run an xlr 😂😂

If you put it in the top input you would get more range as you are making it pass through the electronics of the powered speaker.
@MrMaui387 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! Agreed! I kept it in the back for this test because for most other regular powered speakers, the inputs are on the back anyways so I thought that would be more applicable to test!

Great video❤ What is intresting me in that product, is to use wirh my speakers, no more cables Did you tested from mixer (XlR Output to speaker). Thanks
@MrMaui3810 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! Yes I did test it with my mixer and it worked perfectly! It is a very convenient product for sure. When you get it, just make sure you test it out so that you are sure it will work for the range you have in mind for it! If not you can send back to Amazon. For ranges less than 50-60 feet it works great!

Nice video bro good stuff and great find too bad doesnt work for you but at that price point is good to maybe have it as a back up 😅

Broo thanks for watching!! Dude I was thinking the same 😅 at that price point YOLO might as well lol at $60 it really is a great deal

@@MrMaui38 I also came across a bunch of wireless transmitters but the xvibe was and is really good at least for me. But they are kinda pricey 🤣 I wish we could get sponsors and try different products

@@lasrocasent I wish too man - one of these days it’ll happen!! How’s your experience been with the xvive? Is the range better than these ones from what you’ve seen so far?
@lasrocasent11 ай бұрын
@@MrMaui38 I’ve honestly not tested the distance. I use it for my both monitor so is always behind me but you have gave me an idea. I will make a video about it
@MrMaui3811 ай бұрын
@@lasrocasent let’s go!! Glad to give you the idea haha. Yeah for a use like that, these Coda ones would definitely work too and save a cable. Maybe for the $60 I’ll end up keeping these and use them for something like that. I’ve seen other DJs use the Xvive like across a venue to do a cocktail hour or fill speaker though so I bet the range will be better!

So first off your setup is inside of a desk meaning that you have little to no space above it... So off top you shouldn't even bother trying to plug it in straight... If you use patch cables of about 6 in, then you can put it wherever you need to put it without any concern for space on your mixer...
@MrMaui385 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! Definitely in my situation I wouldn’t plug in straight because of my setup being in a desk. I was demonstrating for people watching and wondering how it would work if plugged in directly to the mixer. Patch cables are a great solution I use in my setup as well and I should have mentioned that! Thanks again for watching and the comment!

Cool, Just making sure. I actually bought a couple sets that are identical to these... But they're made by a different company. Honestly, I'm pretty sure they all come from the same Chinese factory.... So basically one video on one that looks exactly like ours, is probably across the board Going to work exactly the same.
@MrMaui384 ай бұрын
@@ajwillay6888 yup I think it’s just the same device from some factory and different random Amazon and Temu brands are selling the same product! They all should work the same and be relatively cheap.
