I was watching CT's review on controllers and by fluke discovered this video. Had I known earlier, I wouldn't have wasted my time watching the others. Now a subscriber to CT. Great Video! I streamed on Twitch for the first time last night. Luckily for me I use Virtual DJ Infinity so no OBS or Stream Labs required. Just streamed directly to Twitch or Facebook or any other platform.

The important part of this video is using one computer/Laptop for streaming and another one for DJing. My laptop is used for streaming only. My desktop has my Rekordbox software so I use it for my sets. I also have 2 cams and my laptop cam. I use to stream with Restream but since I live stream 2 of the 3 shows I run with my partner and use Twitch for one of them, I don't have the need for Restream. Especially when FB and IG are taking down your videos. I also record my live sets so I can post later.

Had a small issue with streamlabs that totally turned me off:( I had purchased a (.live) domain name (through streamlabs prime) and was satisfied up until i realized that it didn't stream periscope (on .live page) or used any other chats except from twitch. Now, It could had totally been me not understanding but now I just use regular obs.. Anyway, thanks again for your videos!!

i had to delete streamlabs as its stopped working altogether but i am still getting cpu overload on obs but it fluctuates.I am broadcasting video but not of me but music video that i am mixing.This all worked but over time the cpu load problem has got to the point where i can no longer broadcast

Happy Holiday to you and your family, I am live streaming for the first time and I am using OBS, but I find I am having delay between what I see on my computer versus I see when I view my stream on my iPhone or my imac. How do I get rid of the delay or reduce a lot. I will let you know I have two Macbook pro 2017 and 2018 both have 16gb of ram and wireless speed on both laptops are 300Mbps. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I use a iMac Pro 2019 for both Never an issue.even at 4k if the stream would allow it. But you need to opt for the Nvidia card and high video ram. 18 core xeon processor 4.5 gpu its amazingly fast. I carry it to the gigs with a hard case. real deal.

Question people I have a MacBook Pro 2012. Running OBS. I do a lot of dj set video recording on my Mac but having audio issues when the sound skips or jumps, maybe a video frame issue catching up. I’m running my traktor MK s4 to my MacBook and a video camera. Anyone know how I can fix the audio issues? Do I need to use another computer, 1 to dj and another to capture video but how do I set that up if I’m using 1 computer for djing when I need audio to the 2nd? Hope this all makes sense lol

Hi, I have a few questions.... Can I use steamlabs for DJing (on facebook) I was told that Streamlabs is only for games and it will ask what game am I playing when I hit the live button? IS this true?

The two computers are never connected. Two usb outs on the mixer. One to the dj computer, one to the streaming computer.

Great video, I setup my twitch account when I looked at your last video. Have you had an issue with your audio and video syncing when you are streaming? I noticed in this video, there was a slight delay between your actual video and the camera you setup in this video.

You may have to adjust your audio offset. This particular one was my fault but I always have it on my main rig set to about 300ms delay.

Great video Terry. Been streaming with OBS/Twitch for a while. Whilst I agree sound is priority I'm finding my presentation style and audience preference has moved from just the music to the whole package. I suppose that's the same for live performances when we create captivating lighting scenes and audience engagement routines to complement the mix. So I'm finding myself becoming a little bit like radio DJ, engaging the audience with chat,b dedications, music history and background. Whilst this is fun it's a challenge to keep it fun and fresh. Any ideas?
