I used the Shaper Origin to cut out all the different shapes-but you could also do this with a jigsaw. I just like the convenience of the shaper and I want to learn more about digital fabrication. also: cutting box joints in a couple minutes is pretty awesome!
@TB_Production_aka_TB_76

It looks as if, you mark the cutline with a pencil for the coffee brewer and the round can, and then the Shaper just follows that?! Can it do that, or do you have to make a digital template as well? I would love a small CNC, that cut follow my pencil marks, so that I don't have to use time on digital work.
@AvengerDK
@AvengerDK 4 жыл бұрын
@@TB_Production_aka_TB_76 You can do both. You can load files into the shaper or use the buildin camera and set the cut lines as Laura did in this video.

Is it possible to get the Shaper in Germany already? I am a fan of it first hour, but I do not like importing expensive stuff. Keep up the greaz work! I just got an horse trailet myself, not sure what to make out of it 😂

Really loving this build Laura , the way everything you make is in keeping with the rugged aluminium used look . The picknic cooking box was genius ...and it hooks on the side of the tiny camper ...brilliant 👌👍❤🤗

It's beautiful as a display case, but with space at such a premium, I can't help but be distracted by all the added weight, and all the empty space dedicated to visual presentation.

Love this build, I want that handheld CNC so bad. Recently salvaged a cheap OSB trunk someone left by my apartment building, and during quarantine, I worked on it, using my dad's circular saw to cut thin MDF panels to add strength and a smooth interior. Now, this makes me want to make the shelve inserts I sketched out so I can use it to organize my scrap fabric!

Dein arbeit ist fantastisch, Laura! Ich liebe diese klein haus serie! And that's about as far as my current German knowledge can take me without using a translator, but it doesn't do this justice. I love seeing your very unique approach to building a micro-home. Your projects are good and your dog is cute. When I have a space big enough I would LOVE to get my hands on one of those computer-aided routers. I'm always building household solutions out of Lego, which is fun, but the result is always only good enough for a prototype. I would love to start making my own furniture and household goods. I can never find just what I want in stores!

This is a classic Swedish camping stove / pot set, the company is called Trangia. They are dead simple, and burn denatured alcohol. Not as fast or efficient as the latest pressurized stoves but the fuel is cheap and ubiquitous. I’ve used one for years and love it. A typical set includes the stove, a pot, a small pan, a windshield for the stove, and a handle that can attach to either pot or pan. Everything nests neatly together.

Wow, I love yet another cool use for the road crate and the cool reusable quick shapper vice thing. I really love the work you´ve done on this horsebox. But please, turn down the music. To hear you talk I have to turn up the volume, but when the music starts I have to lower it so I don´t wake up the whole house. It would be much nicer to be able to see without all the adjustment with the volume :-)

Cool build! I was surprised by the way you used the burner though. In those kinds of stoves I've always sat the burner suspended on the middle section (not on the ground) and used the little flip down clips to hold the pan/pot/whatever above the flame. Does it work okay like that? How was the coffee?
