At 10:54 I would've took the pawn with my rook, hoped the queen would take the rook and then queen takes queen. As the rook is pinning down the queen, white can't take so I think that would've been another method for the mate

First off, Dave is a stronger player than me, but I root for the guy, because his wins and losses really remind me of my own games and highlight my own strengths and shortcomings. Dave seems to have let go of some anger and enjoys chess more. Helps his game. Me coming out on the bottom rung of a few rapid chess tourneys was a real eduacation of my plus and minus game. Always tactics. I go throught 200 tactic puzzle for every game I play. Today am going to read Endgame Tactics by Jeno Ban. Nice little twist on coup de grace today's game. I am not very good, so maybe I am missing something, but at 8:42, after rook takes bishop, black can still get away, by playing Queen C6, offering a Queen exchange. If the Queen runs, black wins the rook, so white must accept. So after Queen takes C6, B7 pawn takes back the Queen, and now it's white turn, but the pawn on D5 is still forking the Rook and the Bishop, and it's not pinned to the Queen anymore. White will be pawn ahead of the exchange that follows, and black king is not so well protected, but maybe it's still better position, than giving the Bishop for free. What do you think? Btw I really like your channel, good job!

Yoto Yotov when black Goes with queen to C6 the write rook Will just take the rook on e1 with check which Will probably lead to a winning and after rook takes rook and queen takes queen white Will end up with the move to put the bishop back or take the pawn
