So what if you are able to make payments and have never missed a payment, but the amt. of debt is just too high and its taking away money from other needs, would they negotiate with me then? Or is it better to let it be unpaid for 90 days so then there is more negotiating power?

Will it come in the mail or will it be updated on line most of my credits I do in the apps or on line. No it's not too late. You can negotiate a lump sum payment and other options with the locations agency. Call them to discuss.
