She's so sweet. I'm amazed how she's a good sport about being "gay" for the show. I could never pull that off for 4+ seasons. I'm kind of a homophobe. Not that I have a problem with gays, I just can't handle it when guys touch me. A hug is fine but a kiss, I couldn't do it. Good for her! :)

Well it's not exactly like that she is sexually fluid her self but also she doesn't think of it that way she thinks about her character and put herself in Emily's shoes thinking that it the person Emily loves the gender doesn't matter. By the way what I mean as sexually fluid I will just use her words when someone asks her if she's gay "I don't know. I'm dating a man (or whatever gender at the time) but I could be dating a woman ( male or female) in the future. Ask me in a couple of years. You fall in love with who you fall in love with." Also a kiss isn't that bad especially when it is someone you get a long with which in this case she has with all the actors playing her significant other. Also keep in mind this is what actors and actresses are expected to do. She could have dropped out at any point and she knew she was going to play a lesbian character so she was completely fine with doing it and she loves playing Emily and helping many others such as people struggling with that.
