Figure skating shoes are so much more better now...I don't think skaters would like to go back to using those in the early 1900's. And people were just saying that there were over 80 years (or something) of dresses that they missed, and those times still had amazing style. We all know it is "Haute Couture" , but in French pronounciation the H is silent, so it is pronounced " 'ot couture" not Hot lol But let's be fair, the girl was trying. What really almost disemboweled me was her saying the name (Guy Laroche) like in english "Guy" while she should have pronounced it with the sound of "ee" at the end lol Someone ( producer maybe ? if they have them lol ) should have had the idea of putting the correct pronounciation before the foreign names, I suppose. THIS is the BEST Oscar dresses of all time? Disagreeable. Half of these dresses were ugly, ill-fitting, or extremely plain. I do admit that some were very beautiful, but labelling this average-looking Oscar dresses as the best of ALL TIME is almost offensive, considering the fact that the list never extended far before the year 2001. Many famous women were looking just, if not more beautiful in all types and styles of dresses BEFORE the start of the new century and of the 2000s era. I appreciate the effort, but different dresses, even ones significantly from this time era, are more worthy of making this list than the ones chosen.
