Lyrics of the Japanese at the beginning of the song 「There is no one next to you standing in the stillness of a bygone storm.」 The long silence is a moment of silence for his friend Chester in Linkin Park. It's a very big venue, but Japan audience members are also standing in silence with them. You can feel the cry of Taka's grieving heart after the loss of a dear friend😢😢😢

This song is amazing and I'd argue all of their songs (especially band member-only created ones) are worth checking out. I've been a fan since their debut single in 2007. They have always done a beautiful job of combining English and Japanese, and create impactful songs in the process! Their masterful use of English is extremely rare among Japanese artists, and particularly back in the late 2000s. English was usually just added for "cool" factor and often didn't make sense... which as a native English speaker really confused me LOL. I would translate the Japanese opening as follows: (I'm) Standing in the silence after the storm and you are no longer beside me.
