Really glad to see Click get more attention from reactors lately. How it subverts the expectation of a typical Adam Sandler comedy by including heavy emotions was done perfectly. Other things like Reign over Me prove he can do full drama very well also.

I think Adam Sandler is a great storyteller and his movies always have memorable moments and he can deliver both a funny message and a deep message. I think Brendan Fraser said it best in an interview with him. "He doesn't play underdogs, he plays champions that are overlooked!" - Brendan.

I've ALWAYS appreciated this movie. The writing, acting, production design, makeup, all really good. Has some flaws for sure, but I was really taken aback by the darker elements to this story. It really made me cry multiple times. So happy it's getting some appreciation today and so happy for Sandler right now.

The first act of this is all tongue and cheek, but when the second act hits and you're starting to realize where the story is going, it truly makes the third act even more heartbreaking. Every time I see Henry Winkler walk away and start to cry, rewinding it to the point of "I love you son" over and over again, it never fails to land. Work isn't everything if you miss what matters the most, and I really appreciate this movie for helping me understand that at such a young age.

That's one of Adam Sandler's best movies, just before the "I'll let Sony or Netflix pay for my friends vacation" era. His movies used to have a feeling, a real story behind them. Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates, even Happy Gilmore has some real love invested into it. I miss good Sandler films.

Fuck it, they're still good. Just the simple fact that he's been working on movies with his friends since college makes it all worthwhile. The man is truly a class act. Could he benefit from branching out like Jim Carrey? Sure, but you still can't get mad at him for just wanting to have some fun this late in his career.

I would consider this a drama as much as a comedy for sandler. Dude is great at it when he wants to do drama. His new movie Spaceman looks pretty dang good. And he is working on a new piece with the safdie brothers like uncut gems. I feel like he has the hunger for drama at this stage of his career and im excited. Punch drunk love, hustle , click I actually prefer this side of sandler.

I remember when this came out! It hit me like a ton of bricks. Now that I’m older, have my own family, and my parents and siblings are older it hits me even harder! Nothing and I mean nothing in this life is more important than your family and your friendships. Always remind the people closest to you how much they mean to you. Do not let pettiness, ego, pride, greed, and gluttony ever get in the way of that ever. When your time comes it’s not the amount of things that you have around you that mean something. It’s the amount of people by your side and memories you have that are what really matters. I want my wife, my kids, my family, and my friends to smile when they think of me and I want them to know that my love for them can and will never go away. A piece of me will always be with them. Everyone should watch this film as a reminder of what’s truly important. As much as Adam Sandler’s movies have been filled with comedy they are also filled with a lot of real important life lessons. He has always seemed like a genuine and kind man. He never forgets where he came from and the people who helped him get there. For that, he is one of the greats in my book.

This was one of the films I watched with my mother. I had seen it several times already, but it was her first time watching. She was never really an Adam Sandler fan; the juvenile acting and humor never really appealed to her, so she never watched his films. But she was going through a rough patch at the time (her mother had died a couple months before and she was not handling it well), and I suggested watching it because we saw it was available on Amazon Prime when we were looking for something to watch together. By the end of the film, she had tears in her eyes and was trying to hold it together. I gave her a hug and told her everything would be okay, and she thanked me for showing this movie to her. As much as it made her cry -- the parallels between her and the mother she wished she'd spent more time with and Adam Sandler's character's story progression with his father really hit her hard -- it also helped provide some catharsis for her own grief at the time. She died unexpectedly less than two months later. I'm glad that I spent so much time with my mother (I worked as her caregiver for the last five years of her life), but I would be lying if I said it was enough time. Never put off telling the people in your life that they are loved, okay? Because once they're gone, it's a lot harder for you to tell them and for them to hear you.
