I need to try a clicker because my pit mix responds well to me snapping my finger

Can I train a dog to respond to two clicks as a NO command? What is the best brand clicker? Even on Amazon, there is a vast range of ratings on something as simple as a click counter (which I use for counting repetitions, not dog training). A good dog clicker should be easy to use and reliable for the long term. I expect a dog will get used to the sound, and replacing it with another dog clicker could be confusing.

To answer your first question, yes, you COULD technically train this but why would you want too? I would just use the word "no" instead. Starmark makes a nice clicker but as far as I'm concerned, any clicker is just as good as the next. It hasn't been my experience that if i change the type of clicker that the dog gets confused.

Nice I'll try to get more clicker training with my dog. I remember finding your channel when I first got my puppy and that's her now: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZ3SfJ6wp5WFgtk shameless self plug 😉 (although I don't have the same kind of video editing skills or training 😆) The biggest training now is having her listen to me on the same level she does when we are alone, like when there's dogs and kids she can some times decide to try and greet them even though I try to tell her to ignore it. Looking at this video I think I might be forgetting to reward her for actually waiting, and instead I'm just saying "wait", wait for what? that cute dog? that little kid that look like a sheep, LET'S PLAY :D!! While when we're alone she basically stops on track, even for birds or a ball, stays perfectly still in place while I walk a couple tens of meter (in sight), like I said when I found your channel the biggest issue is going to be socializing her in this place... Then we got this whole thing about "social distancing", thanks!, as if I needed more isolation 😂
