Zero actual useful advice. My dogs are 11 & 15 and have just started using my dining room as their toilet. Never done this before and neither are incontinent, neither are excitable. I won’t crate them because they never have been. Do you actually have any useful advice or just here for clicks?

Hello there. I realize I'm catching this video years too late. But if someone could help me I'd be very grateful. My dog is almost 11 and he has a habit of marking in the kitchen (where he isn't even allowed in) when we're not looking. He also used to mark in the bathrooms but we started closing the doors so that's not really a problem anymore. But what do i do about the kitchen marking? Or do i just need to buy him diapers and be done with it?

Thanks for your advice i adopted a one year old male maltipoo. Once I'm home he urinates where he has to, once I'm not he pees whereever 😅 . This means when I'm leaving I'll keep him enclosed in a bedroom 😂

I’m sorry, but this is absolutely the worst advice anyone could give someone. Anyone who’s been rushed by another dog while walking their dog knows you’re not gonna be able to put that other dog on a leash? That is going to take up a whole lot of time that you don’t have right now , and now you are a perceived threat! It’s important that you’re assessing the situation instead of fiddling with another leash. Also don’t you ever try to break up a dogfight. At the end of the day you are a human and you are far more important. Don’t try to put a leash on another dog. How are you gonna hold that dog and your dog. If you did that, the other dog will absolutely consider this a threat and might start attacking you! First thing you should do is do not panic, stand firm, never make eye contact with that dog. They consider this a threat. Dogs can also smell fear. And to them it smells like you wanna fight not like you’re gonna run away. First try to put space between that dog and your dog. Try to get your dog. Behind you. Remember this dog is here to attack your dog not you. One of the best things to do is when the other dog Approaches, you start talking friendly to that dog. Hey there, buddy, whatcha doin? ? If the dog is then aggressive consider spraying it with back off or spray room. They are similar to mace or pepper spray but will not hurt the other dog like mace would. It certainly will give you some room and time to get away. If you have to grab something, a big stick, umbrella or whatever it takes, you can start hitting that dog or at least threatening it . Also, don’t let go of your dog, the minute your dog starts running that dog is going to start chasing and then they are absolutely going to fight and there ain’t nothing you can do about it cause you’ll be 1,000,000 miles away.

I’ve tried playing ball on rope, tug, flirt pole, etc each toy and chew toys and the minute he gets away with the toys in mere seconds he dismembers and as I’ve found out later has managed to eat some. Sadly I am starting to think I can’t play games with him or at least I can’t let him win. He must have a death wish. It’s either toys or sticks. 😢

we already do all that. my dog is 14 and she started peeing inside because she doesn't like the rain. so this is her personal choice , she has peed on the couch bc she was too lazy to go outside although she was just outside ...go figure. Now i need to cover my stuff and my floor but with what?

Just happened to me. Didn’t have an extra leash. The dog had a good amount of weight more than my dog. I grabbed my dog by the safety loop on her harness and kept her behind me. I got as big as I could and I used a loud voice to say “go”. I was lucky nothing else happened.

My dachshund 2 yrs old.Live in country he goes out to yard and plays/suns..we had puppies, their getting loving but he still does too.He started marking our trash can and other things like even my recliner a few times we had a serious talk about the recliner he dont do that anymore but he does door entrance few feet away.I love this lil guy like crazy but something gotta give.He does it different times like middle of night ,after coming in..i only seen him raise leg once i scolded him and he put his leg down. Im a beekeeper, if i bring in a bag of pollen supplement he'll try. Ithink hes jealous and claiming me cause were very close but if i don't get educated im gonna body slam him lol no..but its gotta stop where do i start?

I'm in my 80's,and love to walk.I was almost knocked off my feet by a large dog off leash in an on leash area.My wife told the owner that her dog should be leashed,and the owner replied that she'll consider that,then ran off with her dog still unleashed.

It happened to us today. Two dogs one of them a pitbull he wouldn’t leave. We started kicking off the dog and he wouldn’t leave. When the other dog owner finally approached us she said that we didn’t have a clue about dog communication 😡

I had an off leash Shepard type dog charge at my 8 month old puppy and she got scared and yelped really loud. I don’t think the other dog was being aggressive?? I also didn’t want it to get close enough to us to find out. It charged at her REALLY FAST and I didn’t know what to do because I’ve never been in that situation and she’s my first dog. It was our first experience being charged like that. I’ll be sure to carry pepper spray with me going forward.

We have 2 chi's. We take their food and water away. They still pee and poop on the rugs. When we are at home or away. They don't bark when they need to go. They just jump on us. When they do eat we let them out after about 8mins and sometimes they poop and sometimes not after eating. We don't say anything to them when they poop and pee inside the house. Doesn't do anything anyways. BUT we love our babies so much. We put washable pee pads down now. Our hard wood floors are ruined too.

Your advice is totally useless and does not work! I take my dog outside and walk him around for long periods of time and he does not go. And then comes inside and pee's and poops on our floor. Not sure how you call yourself a dog trainer?
