I've been using V1's for about a year and love them, can't wait to try V2's.

Look into robo grip pliers. I can change out a bad pixel in seconds with my " jump bag". Precut double pixels, wire cutters, robo grip pliers and click its. My routine is to 1. pull out the bad pixel and the one prior to it. 2. Turn off prop. 3. Cut out pixels. 4. Put my click it in the data in side. 5. Turn prop back on. Once new pixels are lit i put the last click it on and your done.

WHEN they work, they work well, but just understand - it's not 100% I finally gave up and used my solder iron and heat shrink tubing on the roughly 20% that don't work.

20% - ouch! I would reach out to Experience Lights and ensure you're following the instructions well. We've used the V1's and V2's extensively, and even though the V1's were not as good, we have yet to experience a failure rate anywhere near that percentage!

While I love the concept of clickits, they don’t work well on cheaper pixels from China. Typically the cheaper pixel strings have smaller gauge wire, and the clickits barbs that penetrate the wire have a chance of not making a connection. So, be sure to have pixels with 18ga wire or better for clickits for a more reliable connection.

Good to know, i was thinking about getting some of these for seed pixels. Those are difficult to work with because of the small gauge of wire.

Do they only come in a package of 100? I don't think I would ever use that many.

They come in packs of 10, 100, and 1000. A couple of packs of 10 is plenty more a lot of people I would assume
