Ramayan is part of Indian history not myths . Hindus use iconography which made you think that it is myth . 10 head ravan means it tells 10 bad qualities of ravan ( which was a bad men ) . Hanuman was a spiritual yogi a devotee of god , living in a forest tribe which later called vaanar and it is represented as monkey bcoz of his fastness in war .
