I am from Puerto Rico and a Black woman told me once that "black" hair can not be washed too much and it doesn't grow..I tried to educate but she doesn't consider me "black" yet I'm darker than her daughter. My hair is tailbone length and it is healthy and full. I also opt for loose curls. I do rollers which I dry in low heat and silk wrap it every night. It's great to see a great stylist like you as most just want to cut our hair.
