My little add on to the long hair talk: I recently cut 14 inches off my hair to give it away and I love how easy it is to care for now. I loved the length but I didnt realize how much work it was until it was gone.
@nickels56964 жыл бұрын
@Destiny Phillips_3240322 It took about two years and I barely used heat on it. Washed it only when I had to and scalp massages when I remembered. I honestly think its genetic too. It just grows fast compared to some people. Just treat it like tissue paper.
@lailaalanna3153 жыл бұрын
@@nickels5696 14 inches is just about average growth. Your hair just grows well and retains length easily. Some people have hair that grows slower than average or requires more care than they can give it. It was great that you donated your hair 🙂🙂🙂👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

I really appreciate your videos. I find them very relaxing! I think I’ve watched nearly all of them since discovering your channel. I also appreciate how much I’ve been able to learn about the different hair textures, and how to car for hair. I’ve often been curious about black women’s hair but I feel like I can’t ask questions because it’s considered rude. This has been kind of a safe space for me to learn about different hair types and hair care methods without accidentally saying or asking something wrong. Even though my hair type is very different, I think there is still a lot of information about hair maintenance and protection that I can apply to myself as well. Anyway, sorry for the long post! I just wanted to send some love and appreciation for all the beautiful work you do. I love your soft spoken voice and gentle treatment of your clients.

Different POC have diff styles of hair, and the same way all black peoples hair isn’t the same, neither is all POC. For example, I, as a Latina person, have very curly hair, almost a similar pattern to the girl in the video, but another, Mexican girl in the comments had straight hair. She mainly takes care of black hair, but it’s important to remember that black people aren’t the only people with that type of hair. No hate, just hoping to help you keep an open mind. 🙃🙃🙃.
