Never seen anything like that "flip jaw" adjustable wrench. So cool. Thanks Chris

I have a set of original 440, 420 and 410 Channellock pliers my grandfather gave me many years ago. These were his first tool purchase on his new job as a mechanic after returning from combat in WW2. Although these 70+ year old pliers still work great, I retired these fine Channellocks over 15 years ago simply for sentimental reasons. They were obviously replaced in my tool box with the new version of the same models and always will be some of my favorite tools. I love Channellock, I have their USA made acetate handle screwdrivers and picks, as well as their Code Blue Automotive/Demolition screwdrivers.

Great presentation Chris. Meadville isn't far from where I live and have been in one of the plants. Ive been in the plumbing and heating business for 32+ years and have used Channellocks my whole career. Still have adj. pliers that still work 30+ years later. Yes knipex makes great stuff, but I'll stick with Channellocks...'Merica!! lol

I agree. I got mine at tool supplier and have been really happy with em. Real nice and dependable and not snap on price where u may shed a tear if someone walks off with one on jobsite.

I'm a huge fan of the Channellock adjustable wrench (I have them at work and at home), hands down the best adjustable wrench out there today!

I've used and abused a pair of 430 t&g pliers at work as a plumber for about ten yrs now...they get used as a hammer, pry bar, etc, get exposed to dirt, grease, oil, slime, various chemicals, and water constantly, every day, and they work as good as they did when they were new. A couple of months ago, I hit the teeth with a wire wheel to get all the built up crud out of them, and was kind of shocked to see how little wear and damage there was to those teeth...the steel they use is no joke! I'm going to have to look into the other tools they have...if they're anything like their pliers, they should hold up great. I love that they are American made (at least their pliers) and they are affordable. Some of the other big American tool companies should be more realistic with their prices...if Channellock can do it, why can't they?

Channellock are my favorite pliers in general. They last forever and just work. I had a tough job with high grade steel. Broke a pair of Knipex Cobras. Finished with a 15 year old pair of Channellocks. I prefer Snap On talon grip needle nose and Klein diag cutters, but even there Channellock a close second. Absolutely love their long nose duck bills. Esp for doing breaks.

Only thing I buy from Channelock is the Wrenches. Those extra teeth on the wrenches make a world of difference on stripped bolts. Very comparable to Snap On but half the price.

Very cool Chris I enjoyed the brief history. I didn't realize the variety of the cresent style wrenches they have. The fact that you can reverse the head was pretty cool aa well. I really need to save some money and get a couple sizes of the channellocks. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and videos, Rodney P.S. shout out to Amy i heard her voice in there also. Again happy you got to share SEMA with her.

I love channel lock tools. There oil filter pliers are great. Made in the USA and priced fairly.

The lady giving the demo of the adjustable wrench showed her confidence in the jaws by locking them on the pipe right above the screen of that expensive, electronic device. I don't own any Channellock products. I've looked on their website for a pair of long reach needle-nose pliers and I haven't found any.

Donald Hollums I do wish the made so long needle nose or even extra long ones also.

I have always liked and use ChannelLock tools. The quality for the price is unbeatable but where I live nobody carries anything but the basic models. I bought my set in 1990 and have only worn out the 4" needle nose pliers.

I use channelocks daily at work. Great tool for great price. Knipex may be a bit better but cost is substantially more. Wish channelock made a pliers type wrench like knipex does. I know wrenches are re branded and outsourced but I have had great luck with mine and at an affordable price.

Knipex suck 😂😂alot of apprentices would show me their fancy knipex pliers they paid 30+ for and they don't fit any better or do anything the USA made channel lock will do, but never had the heart to tell them knipex sucks😂

Well done vids, like to learn the history of these companies. I have a few of their pliers (some passed down from the '90's) and love their comfort grip adjustable wrenches. Quality tools at a reasonable price.

While I do not like Channellock brand tongue-and-grove pliers (Crescent brand with the red handles kills the competition with T-and-G pliers) I use Channellock brand exclusively for my needle nose pliers. After watching this I may give those cutters a try

To bad that a lot of their tools aren’t made in the USA anymore the pliers are about the only tool by Channellock that is still made in the USA adjustable wrenches screwdrivers socket sets are made in Spain or China.

Been in the Electrical trade 27 years, never once have I ever seen Channellock brand 1000v Insulated pliers before, so that has to be 100% brand new to the market for them. . . .. . . . Also, Channellock screwdrivers are technically Klein screwdrivers. Channellock buys their screwdriver shafts from Klein and then puts their own handle on it. But for some reason a set of Channellock screwdrivers are half the price of a Klein set. (which indicates that Klein screwdrivers are overpriced )

Hate to tell you but channellock screwdrivers are made by Pratt Read along with Ideal and masterforce
