the world's largest waterfall is the Salto Angel in Venezuela

Actually, it's the highest and some say Tuguela Falls in South Africa exceeds that. What Angel Falls has is a magnificent drop that is so high, from the Tepui, that it shatters in to mist. At the bottom, it feels more like being pelted by rain surrounded by mist. It is spectacular but....only at certain seasons, predictably the rainy one. A great many falls, some in South America, are larger in terms of actual volume of water. The incredibly beautiful Iguassu on the border between Brasil and Argentina is one. Also it's far more accessible and reliable in terms of water volume.

The Victoria Falls in the rainy season is 1 mile (1.6 or 1.7 km) wide and 360 feet (over 100 metres) tall. Nowhere as near as tall as the Angel, but 'larger' - bigger than the Iguacu (actually a series of waterfalls). In the rainy season it has the highest flow/power, but in the dry season it can drop to a very low rate, so the annual average is not very high.

+Reps ForJesus I'm just trying to point out how strategic it probably was for them to use the thumbnail that they did so it worked with the title to make it seem like they jumped from the top of the "Worlds Largest Waterfall: Victoria Falls" to get more people to click on the video. Since the thumbnail made it sort of seem like it was from the top.

I've stood at the crest in both full and low flood and.....at least from the Southern Rhodesian side, diving would be suicidal. It was stupid but I had myself attached to a rope and, ten meters back from the lip, walked out. Why I wasn't killed....On the other side there are pools where one can swim out and look down but, again, no diving.
