In my school days, my classmates called to the radio to dedicate songs. Once a classmate called into the radio to dedicate a song for my birthday. I heard both my Christian name and Chinese name were called out. I still remember that song, ‘A Man Without Love’ by Engelbert Humperdinck. I had never called into radio or sent a card to radio to dedicate a song. This is not me. I was raised in a family taught by my mom that a girl should be demure and reserved. So I have never thrown myself into a man or openly expressed love to a man like ‘Falling For You’ and such.
