the order of genesis contradicts science, the global flood contradicts science, the "smallest seed" parable by jesus is clearly wrong, since there are several smaller seeds like the orchid. God also got the behaviour of ants in proverbs wrong, He gets the value of PI wrong in Kings and several other scientific facts in the bible that you can easily look up. Whether or not you believe in god, science isn't exactly helping to prove god at every single turn.

I found my faith through prayer when I prayed. Thing actually happened. At first I thought just a coincidence. That was until It happened every time and still does. The lord will answer real prayers man. I want to encourage you to take a chance. What if by chance. We are not just speaking what we want to believe. But what we know to be true. using similar logic, you could say the same about the quran, the veda, and really any other religious book. As it is, the bible does have quite a few inconsistencies, most of which are very well documented, such as the order of creation, value of pi, the lack of a global flood, jesus getting simple things wrong like which seed is the smallest and many others. You can of course ignore those, like most other religions ignore any flaws in their books.

@@sympunny8636 The Quran does the incredible achievement of contradicting itself. Same with some part of the Avesta that was written later than the Gathas contradicting it. Many religious books are wrong to some degree, and for those that present no logical contradiction and do not claim things that are obviously true, as a Christian I believe they are different understanding and points of view of one same truth. For the inconsistencies of the Bible, here are answers to those you gave: - The order of creation isn't relevant because time didn't exist before the Big Bang, as such God does not exist within "time" as we perceive it. What is first for God can be what is last for us, time is meaningless at that scale - The value of π is given in Kings and Chronicles, which are history books written by humans, not revealed by any God. If there is any error, it's humans making an approximation. More specifically, that part tells us how Solomon built the Temple, this is purely the view of ancient architects. - The Flood is a tough one, though there was indeed no "global" flood, the word for "the world" can be ambiguous in Hebrew, meaning "the Earth", or "this country", the limit is thin. They could be referring to Eden, which is supposedly located in Iraq, and there was indeed a flood in the Persian Gulf long ago, so that fits. - By "smallest seed" Jesus obviously means "smallest COMMONLY KNOWN seed", it is being used for a metaphor also.

@@JohnnyLaww Then explain all the inconsistencies. The order of genesis 1 is inconsistent with genesis 2 (and both are inconsistent with science). Luke and mathew also both contradict each other, most notably in how Jesus is descended from david. Kings and Chronicles also contradict each other several times, about Jehoiachin and aziah's age when they began to reign. There's also other scientific inconsistencies apart from genesis, like Jesus being wrong about what the smallest seed is, getting PI wrong in kings, the firmament claiming to be a solid roof over our heads (unless you don't believe that rockets and satelittes are real). This is just some more famous examples as well, there's many more points where the bible either contradicts itself or science or both, so saying there's no flaws in it is an interesting choice.

My boss thinks therapy (a field that utilizes philosophy) is a load of garbage. Somehow, he still has a relationship. It’s almost as if you can use a branch of knowledge without giving it credit or even much thought. Philosophy (specifically metaphysics) has been disregarded as nonsense by ignorant people who refuse to understand it while continuously making assumptions based on science they don’t even understand. Philosophy isn’t given the credit it deserves but people are starting to appreciate it more.
