This is a really good example of what a Christian-atheist debate looks like. To your point, I had a similar but much, much shorter debate with someone in a similar spiritual trap just yesterday. I had commented only because the atheistic view was to attack our intellectual capacity as believers in the Heavenly Father and Our Lord. When I pointed out that the logic the individual was following to attack me throughout the debate was inconsistent and the fact that instead of answering my counterpoints (not one counterpoint attacked the individual), the individual would move to the next attack, I saw in this the satanic "effect" on the person's perception; I then said that in my observation their mind was made up and I was moving on, thank you and I wish the best for you. The individual then claimed that I was being sarcastic about wishing them the best. My final response was that not only was I being honest but I still wished only the best for them. They simply couldn't accept that. To me, that is the essence of the "satanic effect" you will not accept anything that is good in your heart and believe that anything good or bad is a random happenstance of the universe. Yikes. Pray deeply for the atheist to come around, they are stuck deep in the mire.

I came to Christ because I saw the same things in myself and not only did I see that prophecy was being fulfilled but that the Bible perfectly exposes the human condition and our sinful nature and the consequences hence the state of this world, all of which we need to be saved from, there's something inherently wrong with the human condition, we need not only to be saved from the devil, d--th and the things of this world but also from ourselves, she is saying the same things I would have said at some point and I would describe myself the exact same way in hindsight. I was like that woman before and truly believed I had found the answer and was doing good, but in reality I refused every Idea but my own. After searching for a long time, studying the many religions and occultists of this world, I have yet to find a story more filled with love and truth, then the gospel of Jesus Christ. I find that the Bible is an exceptional example of a very logical and loving way to live, free of selfish behaviors with a heavy focus on communicating the right thing. @@Lokinegro1492 Let me clarify then. Traditional religion is horrible and Christianity is wonderful. Any regular person who learns about both will abandon the former. I'm from Nigeria. The British empire did colonize us but they didn't destroy our traditional religions. So we are taught about it in school and we experience it in our lives. That is why traditional religion is very unpopular today. It is meant to work in a monarchy (at least the Yoruba customs). It has very oppressive rites like Oro (A ceremony that allows the kings people kill other people who leave their houses during a certain period of time) and another rite (I forgot the name) that has masqueraded people take money from traders under the threat of being physically assaulted (Literally robbing people in broad daylight). It promotes and necessitates witchcraft (not the American fantasy witchcraft with the hats and all that. The proper witchcraft that includes human sacrifice, stealing of personal property, maiming of people, etc). We still get news reports of people kidnapping, torturing and killing people for witchcraft till date (I just heard about a man being killed for witchcraft yesterday). It doesn't teach any values but the practitioners flaunt their violence, wickedness and brutality to us while promoting love and peace to the world. That's just the Yoruba side. There was a tribe that killed twins born to them because they believed they were cursed and it took a missionary, Mary Slesor, to stop it (This is history so you can check it). And there's more that I've heard but it'll make this post too long. Yesterday I was in a place, in Lagos, Ikorodu. It was previously notorious for hosting many that still followed the traditions but this stalled its infrastructure development; because those that follow traditional religion hate development because it brings along with it education which brings exposure, which brings Christianity, which ends traditional religion. Now it is developing and traditional religion is dying. Traditional religion thrives when people are poor, unexposed, uneducated, easy to manipulate and fearful.

If you are given a better way now, just like the parable of the wineskins, if you put your new ways in the old body, the body is made worse and both are ruined. I live in northern Europe and what has happened in the last 20-30 years is very sad, when I was in school in the 90s over 80% of the students believed in Biblical God. I think she's going to end up becoming one of biggest advocates for Jesus when he touches her heart. She's going to have a moment her life where only God can bring her out and she'll know it was God who did it. Like all of us at one point, she's dealing with some demons because of her own misfortune and hurt she's going through. That's what I'm hearing. A lot of hurt. I can hear it in her voice. Prior to industrialization, there were not enough job classes between agriculture, businesses and government. People would starve and get into debt very easily which is why slavery persisted since ancient times through industrialization even into today. So as an ancient practice, the Bible preserves a moral code as to how to operate slavery and preserve the moral order and avoid the literal genocide and starvation of the poor in each community around the world.

As an ex-Muslim who is now a Christian Seventh-day Adventist pastor, I agree with what she is alluding to in 5:17 regarding Constantin and his involvement with the church, amalgamating Paganism and Christianity. Today, we call it the Catholic church, headquartered in Rome. But we, who are Protestants, protested the Catholic/Pagan rituals and separated ourselves from them more than 500 years ago. I pray this young lady's eyes will be opened to see Jesus Christ as who He really is, the world's only Savior.

As I was watching the whole video I noticed that the angry girl started out loud and just down right hateful but I had also noticed that after the halfway point through the video she had without even trying had changed the tune of her anger and hatefulness and was not so loud and so angry anymore so I was going for Cliffe and his people the whole time as I always do. But we CHRISTIANS really can respect a guy Like Cliffe and I too also respect Cliffe. But I am also very greatful for that angry girl for calming down and listening for the first time in her Life.
