About treasure chests, there are two ways to place trinkets/skulls in them, placing it directly into the chest while it's open on the ground, or holding in the chest while aiming at the trinket/skull. I found the latter being much quicker.

11:50 thats exactly why i start every session with a fort. Acts as a lil warm up, gives you a good start on your emmisary grade plus you get a huge supply from raiding the barrels. i also just like the forts i think they cool :)

My friend and I did a sea fort for the first time and literally not even able to raise sails since a brigantine was right at it, sunk them then a reapers grade 5 showed up sunk us laughed and was toxic, then the server reset. My friend got off out of frustration but I was able to finish it with no hassle but something that should’ve taken 45 mins took almost 2 hours because of toxic players who have nothing better to do in a game that has unlimited things to do

I have recently started playing sea of theives and just got a friend to get it. So far for about 40 hours i have been a solo slooper and own both my own sloop and brig. I haven't played for long but at least i own my own ships. I also have 22 in gold horders and 20 in souls. I love this game so much

Great video! Remember when we didn't couldn't purchse storage crates or simply slurp up supplies? Remember when we had to interact with Treasure Chests manually? I'm loving this game so much with how far it's come and i've only been playing 3.5 years! The uptick in Bottle Quests has been such a game changer. As well as have very direct quests on the Quest Table. Sometimes, i only have 20-30 minutes to play and the new Diving and Quest Table is so perfect! Keep up the great videos!!!

Being an experienced player myself this tutorial is useless to me; however, I can confidently say that this is a great tutorial for new players, which is who the target audience is… the tutorial covers all the basics and gives you useful tips which are sure to come in handy, yet it doesn’t get redundant by giving info that a new player won’t need. Even though I don’t need the tutorial I still enjoyed the video because it keeps the classic Cliff (or ledge) format of going on an adventure then telling the story in detail. Expertly crafted video my friend!

It’s crazy how different every session can be. Sometimes you’ll be attacked by 1 to 3 skeleton ships at a time, get a kraken, get snuck up on by a player and engage in a fight and other times you’ll be sailing the sea with absolute peace. 🙃

I've noticed a lot more Ashen guardians on small islands now which I'm totally fine with, especially since they now always drop a key and ashen chest map. The regular captains' orders seem to almost always give me a storage crate now.

I still think nowadays the first days of game they put you into more empty servers, the first 3 days I played I saw no one I was beginning to think solo meant offline and on the 4th day I began meeting ppl all the time, maybe it was beginners luck or the first account days if you solo you get emptier servers, 0 proof just a feeling lol

some neat takeaways here. Does the crying chest not filll your boat up if you put it in a rowboat? Does this work with the chest of rage too or will it destroy the rowboat? Also with the skull of siren song, if you leave the skull in the chest does it not cause you to slow down but you still get the island location?

Crying chest will fill your ship even when put into an attached rowboat, but deal no damage to the rowboat itself. Chests of Rage will damage rowboats and destroy it eventually. The Skull of Siren Song will slow you down as soon as the chest is open, whether or not you take it out does not matter. Hope this was useful to you!
