The uh, sunken treasuries is the method I often ended up using. Without emmisaries or any bonuses, you made around 200k an hour doing it, and upwards of nearly a million an hour with max emmisary. Some kind of community weekend paired with alliance pretty much gives you the ten million you were thinking of in probably just three hours. Very vulnerable, but it's simple as just diving until empty or peaceful server. Out of a hundred runs, only two times can I recall getting into scuffle during an event. Otherwise, you keep 1/3 of your progress due to mermaid, and a full three treasuries takes 50-60 minutes as I timed it.

I just remember last year, going on a community day, finding 4 other ships and doing an alliance. We just kept the server during the 2 days of the community day. We farmed around 25 fort of the damned without sleeping. We made 35 millions those 2 days. I just remember having 15 ahtenas chest in my boat, it was insane.

Honestly, if all you want to do is make money, the best way to do it is to get yourself into a server. Alliance works even better if you're all sharing the same emissary you just set out guidelines for what people are going to do. Everybody goes out makes as much money as possible. You can pull 10 million in 2 days
