I played enlisted. I come across it randomly downloaded it and found it to be really fun. It's got battlefield type gameplay. You can go in as just yourself or you can play in a mode where you get a whole squad that follows you. Your squad will be made of AI people, but you could switch to any of your people on your squad at any time and you control your squad and their actions so you and your squad can go take an objective by yourself. If your other teammates aren't willing to go with you, it also has pretty realistic mortars and a lot of other aspects of warfare that are left out of other games. Worth trying and since it's free you got no excuse. Worst case scenario you end up deleting it. Best case scenario you get a new game you love

LOL the 3k hours instant island recognition is too real. Anytime we do the Siren Song my crew just defaults to letting me plan our path because nine times out of ten I can name off the islands before they can even take out their maps. And the other 1/10 times I can guess what region the islands are in based off of the shapes of the rocks.

Yes, its an odd one - handing the skulls in is fairly easy - especially if you manage to steal a few here and there. Opening the chests, meanwhile, is always busywork and there isnt really a way to speed it up.

I recently got this game and this was the second quest me and my friend done, we got the skull but had no idea where to put it but then one ship came after us spamming “wanna make an alliance” while simultaneously murdering us. now they killed both of us but they didn’t take the skull for some reason(I was assuming they were trolling). They’d eventually sink are ship and I would die but somehow my friend survived with the skull and when I made it back to him we found out where we had to go. That was my first experience with that skull and the first real experience with this game.

This was a very engaging video to watch (twice) and I loved it. Having Micromads there made the video that much better, and I’m sorry Cliff but I think her sense of humor might rival your own… I’m very happy that you two had such a great time with this new voyage. I can’t say my experience went just as well because 80% of them were completely uncontested; the voyages that were contested only had me in combat for the final part of the voyage (this means I did all the digging). This is why I enjoyed this video so much. Also I still love the music that plays during battles and/or the climax. I wish you good luck for your future endeavors!

I've been in this game almost 500 hours and almost never take part in PvP. I generally avoid it. It's not like I didn't try, it's that the few times I did try gave me the shakes so bad I couldn't deal with it. But - people like Cliff, Phuzzy, and Toxie always make it look fun, so I couldn't totally give up the idea of trying. I eventually figured out I just needed people I know and trust with me. And over the weekend, with my brother and his friend backing me up - I finally got my first high value steal grabbing one of these out of somebody else's hands. (Man, what a rush that was!) No shakes, just pure "it don't matter if we win or lose, just try!" For Cliff - thanks for always encouraging others to keep trying. And for others who may of be in the same situation - don't give up. It'll come, just take the L's on the chin and keep trying!

The best way to do these is to server-hop and either steal a close one or, if you hate pvp, get a fresh server with close digs. In the latter case, do not waste time getting supplies. Every second gives others a chance to get closer. Better discourage them by being too far away to even try.

I’ve found that people are already in a position where they don’t give a shit about the adventure- Because it highlights the drop-off island to everyone else on the server while keeping everyone up to date on progress, I’ve found that you’ll do the slow digging and cursed sailing bits completely uncontested, with everyone else on the server just going ‘Oh ok we’ll just wait at the drop-off-‘ and effectively blockading the island

The only skull I have ever gotten I didn’t even know what it was. I went to the swirl with my 13yo brother, killed the person trying to sneak ashore, and I sold it before their partner could react. I didn’t even know the payout, I just saw the shiny.
