Clifftop Hike to a Secret Beach

Join me and Holly on a clifftop hike to a secret beach on the amalfi coast.
I have often been to this beach by kayak but had never climbed down the cliff path before. I decided to go just to see some different scenery and was surprised how beautiful the walk was.
It is very un Chrismassy here at the moment and the weather has been beautiful but I assure you this is mid December!
You may be able to find this pathway on the coast road between Positano and Sorrento. There are no signs though and nothing to mark the pathway from the road.

Hey NIKKI POSITANO, I've only recently come across your videos and I must say, I'm a huge fan. We visited Minori last year for a week, and also Capri for a week all the way from Australia (I think we were the poorest people on the island!). I have only just discovered your older vlogs Nicki & they are also wonderful; It was great to see other locations especially areas in England and Cornwall as I have great memories of several visits before the millenium. We stayed in Positano for 9 days this past September and took day trips, but so glad we used Positano for our home base. Love your videos! Would love to see an England road trip! Hi. I am watching some of your older videos and really enjoying them. Regarding cabbage recipe: a) cut cabbage into wedges retaining part of the core in each slice b) steam slices until about 75% done c) season with salt and pepper and then dredge each section in flour d) Fry in canola oil until crisp and starting to brown e) Soak up excess oil with paper towel. You may need to add a little extra salt. Eat them soon after they finish cooking. They are delicious. Buon appetito.

Can't believe how warm the temperature is over there. But I remember in other videos, from other years, you were wearing winter jackets in december, so it might be just a strange warm weather now I suppose. One of my students in Japan suggested frying cabbage & onion in olive oil with just salt & pepper. It's great by itself and to whatever doneness you like, but it's also great with eggs coddled into it or with pasta & cheese! Very yummy! Hi Nicki, I would love to see your Christmas road trip. I would love to see any video that you choose to make. I don’t think you realize how much emotional capital that some of us have invested in the videos of your life. I started watching them in 2013 as a means of research for my first visit to the Amalfi Coast. Now I find myself worrying about your safety when you hike by yourself. I have two daughters who are about your age who engage in similar activities and I sometimes worry about them as well. I will give you the same advice I give them - please don’t take unnecessary chances and stay safe. Those overhanging rocks look deadly.

...always exciting watching your videos Nicki as I am literally on edge when you are walking anywhere and this cliff walk especially...just a sense of imminent danger the whole time with those steep cliffs and then your dog that is never leashed...it is conditioning I suppose as dogs are rarely off leash where I live in Canada....between your scooter rides and the climbing I don't know which makes me more nervous...you are fearless and relaxed person; clearly you are meant to live there...The scenery is "breathtaking" in more ways then one....good luck Holly. thanks for this. xo and YES roadtrips anywhere and England....love watching English shows and tourist stuff. 🌷

Always interesting .. love to see road trip if you would like to do one it would be a pleasure.. ... yes walked in Cornwall rugged beach paths and also found a cliff head which I called secret garden as nobody there .. bliss ... dont go far in uk anymore too costly as have saved for my big overseas trip starting in New Year. Loved to see precious Holly again leavibg her paw prints, and kitties ... couple of weird questions .. who will eat so many veg .. do you give to family and neighbours? Used to have lovely fresh fruit and veg in Algiers where I lived for some time .. still miss neighbours there .. had open door policy... do you mix with many Italians where you live?
