I was introduced to worlds climate issues in college during the fall of 2000. The big thing that was mentioned was that many who make money on fossil fuels are of the older generation. The older generation has no skin in the game as to what happens to this world after they die. What's happening now that the younger generation is not only aware of what's happening to the climate but they know that the damage that has been done is something they will experience in their lifetime.

I was brought up in a climate change denying family. Took me until I left home and higher education to see the reality. I have been encouraged by the number of older people who are involved in climate change policy change in my country (Australia). Some in their 80s. Most over 60s do have their heads in the sand. Meanwhile massive US V8 trucks are taking over our roads. Thanks 😅. But Teslas in particular are now everywhere so thanks for that our US friends. 3 Teslas per RAM 1500 or Silverado is fair

Great initiative by you, i think ACHARYA PRASHANT must be heard as an activist working against global warming and always telling us the real solution of it. You can see his english videos on global warming. (He raised this issue on TEDx too)

Yes, we should Outlaw private jets, helicopters and limousines. And make sure all Tesla Chargers are only powered by solar and wind. And we should make sure everybody only migrates South where they don't need to heat their homes, and walking is a more viable option.

No we should all just bury our heads in the sand and pretend like it’s not happening at all. Good idea 👍

ITS The TAILPIPES there are 1.2 BILLION tailpipes, at any given moment 100 million are pumping our exhaust, full of heat, particulates and toxins, All that is going somewhere, Where?

Fact: .04% carbon dioxide in the environment. All 11 previous Interglacial periods (warming) result in 100% of glaciers melting. Average Interglacial period in the last 800,000 years. 10,000 years. Current interglacial period: 11,500 years. The current Interglacial period we are in (Holocene) started 11,500 years ago. Ask yourself one question. If we didnt start this one, how are going to control it. Either the glaciers are melting, or growing. Pick one and try and make it happen. Good luck. Venus 98% CO2, average temperature 800 F, Mars 96% CO2, average temperature -64F. Earths CO2 .04%, Average temperature 59F. The earth gets hotter and colder. The idea that you can change that is crazy. Climate change is Political movement.

lets take these misinfo points one by one: first, 100% of glaciers melting is inaccurate. significant melting occurred but not complete melting and many glaciers persisted through multiple interglacial periods. second, the CO2 levels on Mars and Venus are not the only factors in determining average surface temps, that would completely ignore differences in atmospheric conditions i.e. Venus having an incredibly thick atmosphere and being in much closer proximity to the sun and Mars being much further from the sun with a much thinner atmosphere. comparing surface temps between those planets and earth based solely on CO2 is lacking and incomplete. third, saying that humans have no impact whatsoever on the environment is in direct opposition to an overwhelming consensus of data showing rapid increases in global temperatures coinciding with industrialization. Not to mention the hottest consistent summer temps ever recorded just last summer in many parts of the world, significant weather and seismic events not only increasing in scale but also frequency, more persistent and sustained droughts than any other period in recorded history, etc. Climate change is not a political issue it is a scientific one. The people making it political are those who are conspiracy minded and refuse to accept the scientific data in front of them.
