Climax Blues Band - Hands Of Time

Hands of Time is the 21st album by Climax Blues Band, consisting of 13 new original songs, plus a bonus unreleased track ‘Getting There’ with the late Colin Cooper. It was recorded at Silk Mill Studios in Staffordshire, UK and is a mixture of bluesy funk, soul and jazz-rock, all of the ingredients that have kept the band working for over 50 years.
You can hear a selection of the new songs played live by the band when they embark on their major UK & European tour starting in 2019 to promote the album’s release.

Some bands without original members should be ashamed...Not this Climax Blues Band. The DNA of the original members hovers like heavy mist. The music is true to the name as is the performance. Colin and Pete would be proud as I'm sure Derek and John are too. FM Live got me on board to this band wihen I was still too young to drive. It made me a fan who then looked back and stayed for the coming years. I liked FM Live so well I dubbed it to reel to reel so I could listen straight through.and did so many times. This brings back fantastic memories. So glad to see these guys keeping the Climax sound alive.

I fell madly in Love with CBB back in the late 70's listening to the FM Live album over and over again. Sat here tonight listening to the whole album again while getting some grueling computer work done. Something told me to go check and see what you guys were up too. Found this! God is Good. Wonderful sound and vocals...masters at their craft. Strings are nice touch too.
