Max, your eye, your camera and drone work, your videography skills, they're absolutely next level. Unlike anything I've seen by other bushcrafters. I'm always mesmerized. Savour the adventure - it looks pretty epic. I'm already looking forward to seeing the next chapter.

Poles are considered ultr-popular amongst the hiking world nowadays! Besides, there have been numerous medical studies showing they eliminate 1,000’s of pounds of pressure per day on an average 8 hour per day hike.

Literally - yes, *literally* - spectacular! It must be a big "frame shift" from camping in Canada (except for maybe around Kamloops?) where water is … just … everywhere. Okay so you might have to boil it, but at least you *have* it. Thanks for another beautiful video! Even with the tent caterpillars. Horrible little things. 🙁 (But I guess that's just my previous "rural Ontario land owner bias" showing.)

This was a really good trip you guys. My very first backpacking trip was when i was 17 and it was in the sonoran desert in so cal. I went with the sierra club a lot and then with friends. We always carried a minimum of 1 gal per day. So for a 3 dayer it was 3 gallons. And we were rationing pretty hard as well as cooking mre’s with the little chemical heater they give you so we didn’t need to use our water to make the meal. Beautiful area for sure’ I wouldn’t mind retiring there someday maybe! I really miss the desert. Take care bud! NQU

I think the personalities of you and Xander are reflected in the style of videos that you film. Though the difference is slight, you can tell that Xander's video focused more on the personal aspect, while yours focuses more on the natural beauty of the landscape and the isolation. Also, may I ask what's the name of the font you used in the video's thumbnail? Cheers.

who would have thought that you need a lot of water wenn hiking in a desert :D well fortunately it worked out for you guys. dehydration is not the best that can happen to you. you probably know the saying: overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer... anyways on xanders channel the video is more like... you know... his goofy style, other focus on the shots he puts in the video... just xanders style. on your end like always when you both guys do a video of the same trip its completely different. lovely shots, natureporn and just some nice hiking with a few sentences here and there. your editing styles start to differ more and more which is not a bad thing. and even tho i really enjoy the calm natureporn-type videos a little bit of variety may help like the idea of serious bushcrafting you had instead of just some camping trips. but dont feel pushed, its your channel, and its your content and im thankful that you share your trips with us. as always: greetings mate and keep up the great work
