Congrats. Im sure u got so much amazing time hike Rinjani. It never failed to amaze every human embrace its majestizeness by hiking it, even without to summit. Ive been there like 4 times bfore 2010. Rinjani has its own uniquenes. N im done all 7 indonesia summits also all mountains n volcanoes. N im 50 now. So many hidden gems in indonesia, explore it all u can afford (n i dont mean by just money) for the greater experience u wont get from other place.

Mount Semeru in Malang, East Java, Indonesia is also very good, But still closed for climbing. And if you want to climb mountains in Indonesia, there are lots of beautiful mountains here. We had a porter included in the whole price, they didn't carry our bags but did carry all water, food, tent and snacks... I'm not sure about the price for an additional porter to carry your bag. 🙏😊

Do you think my 10 year old daughter can do this hike? She has done Bluff Knoll in Western Australia very comfortably.. She is an active runner as well.

I think she would be able to do it, at least until the base camp. The summit was extremely difficult but you can decide whether to continue to the summit once you get to the base camp :)
