'Stian Hagen, Thor Husted and I spent two days doing this ultra-classic climbing route to the top of one of Chamonix's most iconic mountains, the Aiguille Verte.
'The arète des Grands Montets starts after the lift drops you off at 3300 meters. From there it is 900 meters of a mix of tricky ledges, perfect rock and snow to the reach the top of the Aiguille Verte at 4,122m.'
