Hi! I love the new units! Im from Sweden, (so sry for my bad English) and if you want to you can just say S T R V, just each letter one after one. STRV stands for the swedish word of tank: “Stridsvagn”. In the Swedish SAV 20.12.48 stands the “Sav” for “StormArtilleriVagn” ore what you rather would call it, some sort of an “assault-artillery- carrage- model”. Love the new units!

DAKADAKA It's crazy that I could survive better in that tank than in the main battle tank because of how much empty space there is in it. without HE or a frontal hit, most AP rounds just go through it harmlessly. Only problem is that there's not enough ammo in storage unless you have good trigger discipline with full-auto.

And for pay to win with premiums, yeah I know (at 7.7 comparing a Obj 120 with more then 400 mm to my T-54s 239 mm PEN is not equal even when taking amour into account) premiums give you a boost but I'd rather like to save money and accept it to loose a fight against a premium heli hovering with its ATGMs. But I can play a great game, with great vehicles and yes, can win without paying anything (especially low tier - for me it's even more fun than the MBT battles) - so in conclusion, its not a pay to win for me, but as you pay you get advantages. If you upset about that, quit your job and invest the time in practicing - so you can compensate for this payment advantages that have other players with their mighty credit card guns.

I have only been playing war thunder for 600 hours and I allready have a tier 5 tank while I have never bought a vehicle and just play casually. If you just grind a bit and maybe get better, you will easily get to tier 5.

It actually is very fun to use, although it's pretty much required to not bring any higher BR tank than it with you, because when the enemies start penetrating the front, it's not that fun anymore. It does punch like crazy when you get hits though.

The strv 103 was made for narrow woodland, could dig itself down with only the barrel visible to ambush the enemy. The accuracy under movement was not very good for tanks those days. So the lack of turret was the Swedish choice. Hydraulics was mounted instead. I lowed being around this mighty machines at I19/P5, Boden.

But it is balanced. Yes the SAV has a super fast fire rate but that is all it has going for it because it's very easy to kill

Easy to kill? Are you having a laugh? The SAV can eat rounds from the 17pdr when it should be immediately hullbroken. Unless it is distracted it is absolute suicide to engage frontally cause it will send 5 120mm shells into you faster than you can even get your gun on target, and it's not likely that you will flank one cause they're so bloody fast that they get into all of the best spots on the map and they come in like groups of 3 so even if you kill 1 another 2 will pound your ass back to the hanger. It is incredibly broken and OP at 3.7 so it either needs to be moved up to around 5.0 or it needs to have it's reload time or pen nerfed significantly

I'm testing the veak 40 and there is something weird with its turning capabilities. When in arcade it's better but still problematic since when turning on the move while going forwards the vehicle doesn't seem to try to limit the speed or break the track it's supposed to and just let's it run with no power instead no matter what. And it's even worse in realistic where when trying to nautral steer it just loses all engine power and tries to neutral steer by barely spinning both tracks forward... it works perfectly fine in reverse. You may have to upgrade your tank driver so he can use braking and gear shifting faster or it may require the "brakes" upgrade to perform optimally. Other options are to bind a key to the "Short brake" under ground vehicle mobility, or even further of binding a button to the "Left brake" and "right Brake" of your tank so you can brake manually. If you're having trouble turning on the spot, get your tank moving and then keep the track in 2nd gear forward. There is the one destroyer in tier 3 that actually has better control and acceleration in reverse than forward with is strange as hell to me.

Fix Swedish Tier 2 and 3 ground tree, after playing the two tiers, its summarily unplayable as soon as both tiers get uptiered. None of the offensive capability can pen any weak points of any tanks. The Strv m/42 cant fight Shermans, T-34s and Panzers IV F1s, the shells cant pen any of the frontal weak point of the tanks.

It is mostly the case when getting uptiered. Some weeks ago I could ram my mouse into the LCD because of facing 8.7 BR games so often with my new researched T-54 that can't pen any of these MBTs in the front. I have to take a lot of punishment - but then I getting the right tactic to play these and then I compete in the battle. So, please don't make sweden even better - just look at the statistics in some weeks and then adjust the BRs.

Play a different nation like Britain which has armor, but low speed and learn the battlefields you're on. also learn to predict where the enemy is going to rush and pray you aren't facing germans AND russians, or russians AND americans. Optimally, you should play sweden as an ambush-only, so if you want to get more kills, either stick very close to allies in a convoy, or flank to the REALLY far edges of the map to scout or line up a shot on the side of a tank that didn't see you.

To the first; No, I sincerely do not think they'll ever add the most modern war planes into the game, they would be totally overpowered in any BR they are added to. AGREED WITH THE SECOND THOUGH!!!! I agree totally, the ability to test a top-tier vehicle without having to unlock EVERY OTHER VEHICLE in the tech tree would be sooo nice. it would make it less annoying to spend 600 hours getting to a high-BR vehicle, just to find it is a massive disappointment (Looking at you Maus, Leo 2K)
