Climbing to EL CHULLO

From the Puerto de la Ragua (2.000 mts), in the province of Almería*, we begin the ascent to the peak *El Chullo , of 2.611 meters of height.
It is a simple route in which we will have to follow for about 4 kilometers the path known as Cañada Real del Castillejo .
On the way we will overcome the slopes that lead to small milestones of rocky outcrops (Morroncillo de Fuente Fría and Morrón de las Tres Lindes) to the *Collado Prados Altos*, where we will make the final stretch of the ascent with a living shelter included.
From the summit, located on the eastern slope of Sierra Navada*, you can see a spectacular 360º view of the valleys (Marquesado de Zanete or Hoya de Guadix) and surrounding mountains (Sierras de Baza, Gádor or Contraviesa, among others), in addition to the peak *Mulhacén (3,479 mts) which is the highest peak in Granada and this National Park.

Hola pareja, qué tal !! Cómo siempre me ha encantado el vídeo. Tal y como me dijiste la subida al Chullo no es tan fea como yo creía, hay buenas vistas , se aprecian muchas montañas e incluso en su primera parte hay pinos , genial !! Nosotros , como ya te dije , la dejaremos para finales de mayo por el tema de la nieve, aunque se nos va a hacer larga la espera para culminar el reto de los 8 Picos. Un saludo para los dos ‼️

Enhorabuena pareja! Que alegría debe ser haber completado el 8/8!! A mi aún me quedan la maroma y éste, que espero que de este otoño/invierno no pase. Ahora a seguir con las cotas maximas de Extremadura o Ciudad Real jajaja, esto ya es una droga y es imposible parar. De nuevo enhorabuena!!
