This video series is outrageously underrated! How did you resist coming home with 50 pairs of boots? Then again, that might’ve set you back the price of a cozy suburban home in New York😂. Thanks for the fantastic Tokyo tour-it was a treat!

@@YouShoe-1985 Haha all the $$ (and boot-buying time) went to making the series! I did pick up those Danners I try on in this episode, and love em. Huge thanks for digging the series! Two more kind of addendum episodes to come…

The whole country is such a fabulous place to visit and Tokyo is just so unlimited. Not just for boots, everything. I hope you make it!

Such a gem of a series. Seriously. Thank you for all of the hard work put into this. It really comes through. Getting to put names to faces with such insular and clandestine makers and practices just makes wanting pairs of these shoes even more real.

@@Mazzah96 For me, it’s ALWAYS about the people behind the products, especially in this boot world. So that was a huge driving force behind this series and the approach we took. Thank you for appreciating that! And watching! More soon!

Thank you for these amazing videos! I feel so happy and delightful to watch these again and again. You introduced so many brands that passionately build boots; I can see that they craft boots with love, and the products come out just perfect. Also, you navigate me to find outstanding and unique boots in Japan which I would definitely try out in the future. Good to know that there are a lot of friends who care about boots and shoes making so much. Nice to know you all 🥳🥳🥳

Extremely well done series of videos. Kudos to all worked on the shooting and editing. Having grown up in Japan and now living in the US PNW, learning about the boots culture and the making of them in Japan makes me appreciate the continuity and ingenuity of Japanese craftsmanship that draws inspiration from the good ole America. Can’t wait to get back to Japan and explore a few of the shops that I haven’t yet been to.

Had never heard of Addict before, but after checking their site, their roughout service boots look so clean and perfect in design.
@stitchdown2 ай бұрын
Addict is really quite good. Great balance of not trying to do anything too crazy design wise, very wearable, really nice weight to them. I love the way Satoshi describes them as sitting between “gear” and designer.

It sounds like you're emphasizing the importance of supporting products made in the USA. Here's a refined version of your message: Support American-Made Products: Economic Impact: Buying products made in the USA helps strengthen the local economy. Job Creation: Supporting domestic manufacturing creates more jobs for Americans. Quality Assurance: Products made in the USA often come with higher quality standards and accountability. Reduce Dependence on Imports: By prioritizing American-made goods, we can reduce reliance on foreign countries and promote self-sufficiency. Let's focus on supporting products and industries that are built in the USA!
