Thanks Mamerto, great stuff as always. I can't get Cline to see the output of the terminal window no matter what I try. I know it is a known issue and I've gone through ever thread on github with no luck. Any tips? Win11/PS7,Git Bash,CMD. running Conda. That combined with how Cline opens a new terminal every time it runs a command is killing me. I spent all day going through all the suggested fixes on that as well. love the tool but can't manage the disconnect between it and the terminal. Had it build an MCP server and spent hours having it try to troubleshoot connecting to the server with no joy. Hopeful but frustrated. Thanks for all the great content! You keep me inspired. :)

Thanks for the comment! I'm not sure if Cline can see the command output. What I do sometimes is I copy the terminal output and paste it to Cline manually. As for the multiple terminals used by Cline, I agree that it's annoying. I don't think we can easily work around it though. Have you tried to ask the Cline team in Discord?

@@AIDrivenCoder You bet, thanks for the content. I've got couple posts in their Discord now. I'm glad to you know you are working around the same issues and having success. You have me psyched about the MCP world, so getting this sorted is a priority. I'm never sure how to get Cline to move on after a terminal command is requested. What is your typical workflow on that? For example, do you run the requested command, paste in the results and then hit the Reject button? Later today I'm going to try and tell Cline to not attempt to run a Terminal command directly but instead request the command and then wait for me to paste in the results. I'd lose the full autonomous mode but gain a workflow I trust. We will see.

I had the same issue but on MacOS, changing the default shell in vscode worked for me. I don't know about Windows, I never use it for programming.

Haven't watched it yet, but thanks. What was the program in that one video you showed towards the end? Something about project scaffolding

Thanks for the interest! I would love to answer your question. However, I'm unsure which video or part of it you refer to.

@AIDrivenCoder ai prompt architect, in the aider scripting automation video.

Ah! That's still under development. Other projects sidetracked me, but I will complete the AI Prompt/App Architect soon.

Excellent video, thanks! I created an MCP server builder inside Claude desktop using "Projects" by anthropic... just to discover that Cline is doing this natively now which is super useful! Since you're in the thick of things, if you don't mind, at which number of tools do you see degradation of performance? I saw in my testing after about 40-45 tools, claude starts to struggle in picking the best tool for the job. Is that something you've also observed?

Thanks for the feedback! Wow! 40-45 tools? That's a lot 😊 I haven't tried more than 10 at once. But I can imagine Claude will have difficulty picking which to use. Have you tried telling Claude to use a specific tool you want if you feel that it will be confused?

hey do we need to pay for openrouter to get token limit increased

You have to pay them to increase your credits. I have yet to experience hitting the daily token limit when using OpenRouter. See their docs for more info.
