very informative pelvimetry video. i learned a lot. I've always wondered how to know the pelvis type in an actual person and not just a pelvis diagram, thank you for explaining it clearly.

Where was all this knowledge when I was 17 and allowed to labor for 3 days with no pain relief and a ten pound baby? Sheesh. The nurses told me it was my fault my labor was not progressing because I was not relaxing. Ha! My son was 10 lb, 24 inches long with a huge head. He never even engaged into the birth canal. Finally at the end of the third day a doctor came in, examined me and I heard him yelling at the nurses outside my room that me and the baby would both die if a c-section was not performed immediately. I was deathly ill afterwards with uterine infection and fever and hospitalized for 3 weeks. I went on to deliver 3 more children via c-section. I’m glad doctors are paying attention to this. It’s too bad they didn’t 40 years ago. Thanks for the very informative video. I will pass it on to my newly married youngest son and his wife.

👏🏻 great comment👏🏻. I remember after my epidural vaginal delivery I couldn’t pee. The nurses made me feel like crap and threatened me with catheter. I’m in RN school and that’s a huge no no! Not the catheter, but the threatening. I’m sorry they let you labor for so long. That’s why you got an infection.

Very sorry sometimes it's the fault of our knowledge incompetence and lack of more clinical experience ending up failing to understand the abnormalities which could be found as you know the field of medicine is so wide 🤒🤒🤒🤒,

This video was helpful, but you should be aware of where you place your thumb during that exercise on that on a real patient!
@mussaelia86933 жыл бұрын
Where to place
@MichMachine8 ай бұрын
@@mussaelia8693 you'd have to either extend the thumb to be a 90 degree or larger angle, if your anatomy doesnt allow that it can absolutely be tucked. Should never be resting on what would be the clitoris.

seriously?, you couldn't find a pelvis model for each type ?, and you used the same model to describe all of them?, or are these different models of the same set?, cause they look like the exact same with differences.

Am I the only one that's irritated that it's 2 men presenting this ?
