Looks very glam, I think it would be drying on me. Great you were in the first 20!

Personally, I wouldn't recommend it for dry skin, despite what Clinique says!

Thanks for mentioning the irritants.

Hi ! Sue ! This clinic serum foundation looks great on you ! The finish is good on you and it last all day ❤! I have been using this foundation and it has improved my skin ❤!

Thank you! It really is a great option for a longwear foundation :)

I feel like it makes my skin look firmer when I'm wearing it. The first time I wore it I felt that my skin looked dry, but I've been using glycolic exfoliating pads in the morning, then generous sunscreen, and it has been looking fantastic. I didn't think I liked full coverage foundation, but this is so natural looking and wears so nicely throughout the day.

It really is lovely! What glycolic pads do you use? I am a beeeeg fan of glycolic acid!!

@@Fifty-sense The nip + fab glycolic acid night pads Extreme. I use them in the morning though, before sunscreen. They really make your skin smooth. I buy them on amazon. .

It looks great on you. I have had trouble with oxidization with Clinique foundations in the past but I will try this in the future. I love these road test foundation videos; thanks so much!

Thanks Debra. Yes I've also had oxidation with Clinique foundation so I was very wary. Best to get a sample first if you can.

Hi Sue this one looks really good on camera and is a great shade match indeed - sometimes that's really half the battle, as the wrong shade never looks 100%. I haven't tried this one due to all the vitamin c and BHA - my rosacea would probably freak out with all that everyday. The other issue for me is the word matte - my extremely dry skin doesn't look good in matte foundations lol. Clinique's foundations are a very yellow based line and my very cool toned skin can never find a shade match - lol all in all not for me. It does look really nice on you though and even better that you got it for free - always a bonus. Best wishes.

Hi Loraine. Yes, not sure this would be good for your sensitive skin. I'm going to wear this consistently to see if the salicylic acid or vit c causes any irritation. They are probably quite low down on the ingredients list but time will tell. 🌸😺

I have serbaceous filaments on my nose 👃. One of the serum ingredients in this foundation I believe is really good for this. I’ve been a bit traumatized by foundation after purchasing Clarins Everlasting. Might give this one a go one day!

The Clarins everlasting also left me traumatized! I am so pleased with Clinique at the moment. Was really surprised by this foundation.

Hi Sue. I really like the look of the Clinique foundation. On camera, looks like the perfect match. Typically, what is your preferred method of foundation application, brush/sponge, and why?
@Fifty-sense2 жыл бұрын
Hi Julie. I prefer a brush because it's easier and quicker and agrees with most foundations. A sponge tends to soak up product and some foundations (eg my Sensai) are too thick to apply with a sponge but blend beautifully with a brush. I hope that helps 🤗

@@Fifty-sense Indeed it does. Thank you and have a terrific week!

This is very drying even with moisturiser and primer. It also settles into lines.
@Fifty-sense2 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry you found that. I'm going to wear this for the next week and see how it goes. It does take a few wears to really get to know a foundation.

I thought it was way too dry at first too. But in hot humid Florida weather under sunscreen it works great
