In the 1991 TV movie, "The Gambler Returns" Clint gets roughly 9 minutes of acting when he resumes his role as Cheyenne Bodie. Kenny Rogers and Reba McIntire star as card sharks winning a lot of money with outlaws trying to steal it in a long shootout. Cheyenne and Wyatt Earp (Hugh O'Brien) help them out in this particular scene.

I love this and all the old cowboys. I love Clint Walker, Hugh O'Brian, Kenny Roger's and I believe this is Reba which I think it's a great cast. Everyone gets old. I like it when they get our great older actors in films and TV shows.

I should point out that this movie had several former tv western characters who made appearances like The Rifleman Chuck Connors and his co-star Johnny Crawford who incidentitally appeared in The Gambler II but playing a different caracter , Gene Barry who played Bat Masterson, James Drury, The Virginian and his co-star Doug McClure, Jack Kelly as Bart Maverick and David Carradine as Kwai Chang Caine from Kung Fu.

I have watched just about every western series that has been on telivision, and in my opinion Cheyenne was the best by far... he was the most genuine Hero of all, even tho he was a ficticious character unlike Wyatt Earp who was based on real life.. Clint Walker was Cheyenne on the screen and in real life....

I hear you Saunders... I think he was out of shape at the time they made this movie...but there was a long time in between, that he was out of the public eye.and we didn't see him age....like he said in the clip.. Things have been pretty quiet for me lately.... That was for real....We will always see him as the magnificently handsome, beautiful man who graced the small screen and the big screen... He was, and is Bigger than life....and will always be my Hero...Thank You Clint....

God,how I loved watching this tv movie and one last time seeing some of TV's greatest western stars in the roles that made them immortal:Chuck Connors as Lucas "Rifleman" McCain,Johnny Crawford as his son Mark,Clint Walker as Cheyenne Bodie,Hugh O'Brian as Wyatt Earp,Gene Barry as Bat Masterson,Brian Keith as "The Westerner" Dave Blassingame,James Drury & Doug McClure from "The Virginian",Jack Kelly as Bart Maverick and David Carradine as Kwai Chang Caine from "Kung Fu".Just Awesome.

Patrick MacNee so appeared as "Sir Colin", a character who bears a considerable resemblance to John Steed. He's in a poker game with Brady Hawks, Bart Maverick and Bat Masterson. it was an inspired bit because, although they are characters from different times, filmed in different decades on different continents, there's a strong resemblance to Gene Barry's Bat Masterson, who eschewed gun play in favor of hitting the bad guys with his cane and John Steed who did the same, preferring a steel-plated bowler as a weapon. I wished they'd had another player who objects to the draw bu7t is disarmed by Masterson's cane and silenced by Sir Colin's bowler. ..

Clint was ruggedly athletic in his younger days and was a naturally gifted actor but ran into some severe health problems. His downslide started when his heart was punctured by a ski pole which almost killed him, and severely hampered his career. I believe he also had a tumor behind one of his eyes, which is why it looks odd here. After his ski accident he did a short lived series called "Kodiak" but you see even then he wasn't the same.

*Kenny sure was throwing a lot of Bones to a lot of those classic western actors. His Gambler pictures reminded me of that scene at the end of Bob Hope's Alias Jesse James, when a parade of Western television and film actors provide minutes worth of cameos in character taking out bad guys and saving Bob's bacon!* 🫶😻

This is one of the best gun battle scenes I think I've ever seen certainly the most complex with the amount of individuals who stunk people and 51 noticed it's actually filmed on the backlot at water brother studios of The Dukes of Hazzard set the count square set and the amount of people that were in this movie the gambler the 4th film IA had the who's who of Western stars from these sixties era black-and-white Western TV shows in this movie and it was just amazing the ensemble cast in it was basically had to be done in 2 parts for TV because it was just that long

I didn't say that he wasn't a nice guy, I was just replying to Princess' comment that he looked 'fabulous', which I took to mean he looked fabulous in this clip, which he made when he was 64 years of age. Clint Eastwood, another nice guy, who is only 3 years younger than Walker, looks younger today than Walker did in this clip shot over 18 years ago. Trivial yes, but true.
