Interesting, I listened to the first Farm Aid live on the radio and I agree with Clinton. I knew Wow, Bob should tour with the HB's. They were on fire over the radio and I taped the show on cassette.

I loved "Like A Rolling Stone' by Jeff Beck & Seal, and I believe they were paying homage to both Jimi Hendrix & Bob Dylan...

after listening to Howard Sounes tearing down Clinton Heylin this gives a much better understanding who Clinton Heylin is and that is being a great researcher and writer. It does seem Clinton Heylin is convinced there was a motorcycle accident. I wish Clinton would have discovered the photo of Bob Dylan being in the Mayfair Hotel after the motorcycle accident looking healthy and didn't seem to be suffering from any injuries. The motorcycle incident is the most crucial pivotal event and yet somehow gets swept away as something not to be researched and setting the record straight was there an actual motorcycle accident or did Bob Dylan just want out of the rock and roll fame scene for the toll it took. After Blonde on Blonde and a year of concerts the poet Bob Dylan vanished.

Thanks for watching and also commenting. I appreciate it so much. Curious, what do you think of Howard Sounes?
@CarmelaRoseRosse Жыл бұрын
Well Howard Sounes lacks the enthusiasm that Clinton Heylin has for Bob Dylan. I prefer Clinton Heylin for delving into Bob Dylan's archives thoroughly coming out with some interesting new discoveries. Howard Sounes writing is based upon evidence and facts, yet he relies on others that their memories are accurate and factual.

@@CarmelaRoseRosse Thank you for this thoughtful reply! I reckon I should try to get Clinton Heylin back on the show!

@@thepaulleslie yes, but make sure that Clinton Heylin has been diving into Bob Dylan's archives or else it will be repeated stories and information everyone has heard before.
