I would have liked a wear test! I actually bought it and as a combination oily skin person, it was actually really drying, like you could feel your skin tightening. It also isn’t great against oil... Would love a review of the new HERA black cushion!

As someone with dry skin myself, I can see this cushion feeling really dry. Make sure to sufficiently moisturize your skin with your skin care routine, and it should be better. Personally, as I've been really focused on keeping my skin moisturized, it actually felt okay for me. As for the new Hera Black cushion, I'll definitely check it out.

Thank you for this ! Based on this I think that linen is my skin Color and that I am Nr 21. But now I am also curious whether I should try to go one step lighter and try Ivory just to get that slightly more glowing up effect. Which one did you personally like most between the Linen and Ivory? I think that I have a blend of warm and cool skin tone (close to neutral), because I do look good with both cool and warm colors, but I also think that I lean slightly more towards the yellow & warmer side since since I find it slightly easier to blend in with red & warmer colors. Do you think that Ivory blends well with neutral/slightly warmer skin tones? Can't decide if I should go for linen or ivory so I could appreciate some tips! Thanks again!

Hi there! I used to use the Laneige BB Cushion Pore Control previously in the shade 21 Beige. I really liked it, but I wanted to change things up. What shade do you think would suit me? The laneige shade was slightly lighter than my skin tone, however it still looked fine. I’d prefer if it would be slightly less lighter since I don’t want to look unnatural. Hello 🙂 Based on your question, it's actually hard to tell what shade you are even you told me about the colors of the eyeshadow palette. If you have tried any base products, I could ask what shade you've been using and give recommendation based on that, but since you said that you've never tried any cushion, I think it's best to test the shades on your skin to know what shade you should use.

i use the colour lingerie for my clio cushion xp, and i have pink undertone. the xp cushion is the slightest bit light for me, but i feel like if i go up a shade itll b too dark? i like when my foundation is abit light rather than natural. i am contemplating between 2 and 2.5 for the all new cushion :( because i heard that 2.5 is a yellow-base. but im also scared if number 2 would b maybe too light for my skin? what would you recommend?

The shades of the The Kill Cover Cushion All New are quite similar to the XP. I personally don't find there to be much of a big difference to the two lines, but there are some subtle differences. As you have said, 2.5 does have a slightly yellow ivory tone, so it may not fit your pink skin tone. If you find the KP to be slightly brighter than dark, then I think you should use No.2 as it is.

Like what Ria mentioned, for No.22 I would also recommend No.22. But do take note that it can feel a bit bright and yellow. No.22~23 is said to be cool tone, so it's also probably okay to use ginger.

Is there anyway to figure out what shade I am? It's so hard for me to buy these online. I'm asian, but I'm not pale or dark. Just somewhere in the middle. I use Medicube #23 Natural Beige which is their darkest shade, but it's just a tad too light for me. When I put it on, it looks obvious I have makeup on when I apply unless I put an extremely thin layer but then i don't have enough coverage. I don't stay out in the sun, nor do I tan easy. I guess I have a cool tone since I tend to turn red under the sun. Another product I used was Estee lauder Warm Vanilla. It was also just a bit too light. I'm not a fan of spending hours on my face in the morning. I just want to dab on some foundation that looks as natural as possible and go out the door. Any advice would be appreciated 🙂

I totally agree that it is difficult to find the correct shade through online shopping as you can't try it on yourself and the shades of each brand or line may differ slightly. Is the Medicube product you find to be light, the Red Foundation? If it is and you feel that No.23 is too light for you, I think No.4 or No.5 from the Founwear Cushion All New will probably suit you. If you felt that Estee Lauder's Warm Vanilla was also bright, then I think No.5 would be better. The coverage is on the good side, so I feel that it's great to use for when you don't feel like spending a long time in doing your makeup in the morning. As it is difficult to really give suggestions online, are there any other products or shades that you have found to be right for you? If there is, let me know and I can get a more accurate feel of what would be right for you.

@@jetaime002 vanilla might be too yellow for you, I think maybe Ginger would be okay (I have Ginger for the Clio Glow Cushion) the shade itself leans a bit cool neutral for me and I think in this cushion it’s toned up, so Ginger would be the best probable match for you.

As the All New Cushion is actually not as dry as I would've expected it to be, as long as your skin is not that of the severely dry type, try prepping your skin with a toner or toner pad, and then layering on a moist serum or ampoule two to three times before using! The dryness of the cushion will be greatly reduced, and you will be able to create beautiful semi-matte skin!

When I found out there was 40% discount for all Clio products, without hesitant (and also because of fantastic reviews) I bought 2 sets of the all new killer cushion. However after using it for a day, I can say that I had make the biggest mistake, I should not have relied on reviews!. First and foremost, I have combination skin - dry cheekbones and oily on the forehead. After washing my face, I only applied boosting solution on my face followed by the cushion. I was outdoor for an hour and spent two an a half hours indoor. When I removed my mask, the inner layer was stained by the cushion color. Unfortunately I'm not able to upload photo of my mask. Then another 2 hours later, my forehead and my cheeks looked oily. So my advise is do not purchase if you have combination skin. It's only suitable for ppl with dry skin!.

Hi, Aego here, that's very interesting as I also have combination skin, and I didn't find myself having the same problems as you, nor did my friends who has been using the cushion. Do you by any chance live in an area with a humid climate? As, I can probably see this being possible for people living in areas where the climate is hot and humid. I don't know what boosting solution you used, but I normally just do a quick toner wipe on my face, and apply it on. I've never experienced much staining, any caking or it getting oily.

Yes, I live in Singapore and it's hot and humid all year round. Even right after applying the cushion, when I lightly pressed a tissue against my face, it does left a bit of stain.

@@tiffanytee9496 Viewer here from Singapore too. As Singapore is humid - you will definitely need powder to control the oil. This goes for all foundations. It is inevitable to have stains because we sweat a lot. I use this cushion too and with powder, there are minimal staining. You could give innisfree no sebum a try and see if it improves.
