UPDATES on this cushion: I feel like sometimes when my skin isn't in the best condition (more dry) i feel like this cushion enhances those dry areas. (esp cheeks and nose corners!) It definitely feels more matte (rather than semi-matte) the more I try it! I like how it controls my oils though on the t-zone. but deff a little drying looking on some days on my cheeks! Thank you!!💕 hahaha this was also a new cushion i opened in a very long time so i was super excited!!!😆 Also I have updates on the masks on my blog! It does smudge a bit on cheeks onto mask (more than what's shown in vid) but it's not a crazy amount so I was fine with it :)

@@teeeeeeeeeeef hi! it does have a scent to it, it's like floral makeup-type of scent! I think all clio cushions have it. I personally dont smell it anymore once it's on and settled but I think this can depend on the person :)

Hey love your videos! Im actually getting interested in cushion foundations and was wondering do you prefer the ginger shade or the sand shade? I recently got the ginger shade in the clio glow cushion and it seems slighty too light or grey on me. Ive watched so may videos on ppl trying out the sand shade, but it looks so dark on them but on you it looks so nice. let me know what you think!

hii! thank you!!! 🥰I've only tried sand for the glow one and that was over a year ago! I think back then it suited me and i really liked it, but I feel like now the ginger - well it doesn't suit me 100% (it's deff a little light on me too) but it works out better after I apply blush/bronzer over the sand shade. :) I feel like all the shades tho kinda vary depending on the product, so it is a bit of a trial and error! for example Fixer ginger is slightly different with Founwear ginger in my opinion. :)

I feel like the clio fixer one controls the oily tzone area better! this one is deff more semi-matteish too over the settingfit ex! settingfit ex dries down into a nice semi-matte as well, but I feel like the first 10-15 mins it's still kinda wet-ish! I think coverage wise, they're both really good mediums, I haven't tested it side by side, but i do feel like maybe settingfit ex is slightly stronger? I hope this helped!! 🥰

I didn't feel like it was drying at all! felt like nothing on the skin. but at the end of day i felt like it got patchy and dry around my nose. But everywhere else looked completely fine. Will keep you posted though 🥰🥰and thank yoU!!!!

hi!! :) thank you!! 😍ooh that's a hard one! I personally feel like fixer is better against the heat and for oily skin, but there are days when it can look patchy esp when my skin isn't in best condition or when the weather is super dry outside! for EX, it's more semi-matte, slightly hydrating beneath, but i can see how under certain weather conditions it could sometimes fade slightly. But still, for me, between the two, if I had to buy it, I think I would go for EX! I'd rather have it fade slightly and me being able to touch up instead of working with patchy areas! But if you know your skin can handle something like fixer, it's a great option as well as it holds on to your skin pretty well. hope this helped and thank you stay safe as well ❤️

I was surprised by how light the shade seems the moment you applied it and I didn’t feel like your skin tone is that dark/dark enough for Clio’s 04 Ginger or around the typical Shade 23-ish (?) for Korean base products. Did it oxidise over time?

hi! :) so i feel like this ginger shade is tad lighter than usual ginger 04 shades, and I noticed that too at the beginning but over time it seemed to oxidise little bit and blend more with my skin tone. :) I would say I suit shade 24 the best if a brand has that one.

You showed the Founwear cushion at the end, do you think they are similar? I have the Founwear cushion and like it for the summer. I don't know whether it smudges on masks as I choose not to wear makeup when I have to go out with a mask, but it's otherwise pretty transfer resistant in most situations. Please let us know in the update! :)

hi joanne!:) they seem different. this one is much more lightweight and it finishes off more on the matte adhering side. I find the founwear is more velvet and glowy looking at times and more coverage! :) I think if you will really like this one for a more weightless light/medium coverage! and less transferring :) I'll have to test the founwear with a mask as I haven't done so yet but I'll let you know the updates!! :) 😍

I love your cushion videos! And your skin looks amazing! I'm curious though, which one do you like more - this Clio Fixer or the Moonshot Setting Fit? Also, I haven't tried Clio cushions yet so I don't know my shade in this brand. Do you reckon Ginger shade is similar to Moonshot Correct Fit 301 shade (I know that Setting fit is a tad darker)?

I am also running out of the moonshot settingfit right now, so the clio fixer could be performing better as of right now since it's new. but I do feel like the fixer cushion has a tiny bit more coverage over the settingfit. And for the shade, feel like it's pretty similar but fixer cushion ginger shade seems tad lighter! :) hope this helped 💕

thank you!! :) I do agree they both have that fixing power and matte finish. but I have to be honest, I haven't used espoir taping in a very long time and I gave it away to a friend as the shade really didn't suit my skin. i think if you don't have any trouble with dry/ flaky skin, you'll love both either way. they honestly both feel so lightweight and nice from what I remember, but i feel like maybe the taping had slight more coverage? Oh and I also liked taping for it's cushion puff :) so sorry I can't remember exactly😭fixer is nice, but sometimes if i'm having a dry skin day it can get kinda patchy, esp if i wear like a matte sunscreen underneath. but I can see it working well for oily skin types :) thank you!!😍

i haven't used the cica serum one in a while but i think it's just depending if you want a bit of glowy finish (cica) or semi-matte/matte finish (fixer). I think I have used fixer more recently, just been more convenient with masks when going out :) but I do find that the fixer can be a bit drying looking at times when my skin isn't in good condition!

I think clio's ginger 04 shade is equivalent to standard no.23 shade! but I'm not 100% sure since I haven't tried the missha magic cushion so I think best bet would be watching more vids that might show shade comparisons! 🥰

hi! :) I actually don't use powders that often, but I do carry around a sebum powder on days I know my skin might get oily/shiny from the product i'm wearing! I have combi skin so I like to target that shine/oil at the end of the day. The sebum powder I use feels light, I use the Saem perfect pore pact! But this one does have a mattifying look. I think loose powders could be less mattifying/less drying looking, but again this is just personal thought. Also I think most powders depend on how you apply it as well. I find that when I apply it with cushion puffs it goes on thicker and heavier but when I brush it lightly with a big fluffy brush I find that you can really control how much you apply and how much you want to set it. :) I hope this helped, I don't have a huge collection on powders so I hope you can understand. 🧡

hi!! :) yayy to founwear!! so I feel like they're really different in terms of finish, the fixer is more semi-matte and lightweight while founwear is velvety and slightly hydrating in my opinion!! So i like them for diff occasions :) but right now I do like fixer since it's doesn't transfer as much and it feels easy to wear casually. but i just tried out their new cushion and I am LOVing that one so far! Will let you know soon which one it is! ❤️😆

Hi! I think this cushion is great for combi/oily skin types! It has that fixing feeling and wont budge throughout the day and feels super lightweight. Sometimes though on my not so good skin days i feel like my skin looks a bit dry esp at the end of day when ive used this. Just a thing for me since I have dry u zone! I really like laneige matte one, and so far its done only good things, but fixer deff has a bit more coverage. 🧡

hmmm i think if you have combo skin but more dry side, probably the founwear would work better, but if you have combi and more oily, this one! My skin type kinda changes over the seasons, it goes from combi-dry, to combi-oily depending on season. also the finish- fixer is semi-matte/soft while founwera is velvety! I hope this helped!! :) 🥰

hm!! I do like founwear for that velvety + coverage finish plus slight glow, this one I like it fixates onto skin super well, but when my skin is extra dry it does cling on a little bit! but I still like this when I want that semi to matte finish! 😍
