Fun fact: in the original draft of this episode, when Dan was distracting Antony they were gonna have a rogue bullet enter through the window and take Antony out and the whole of Peaksville is then returned back to Earth and everybody who was sent to the corn field and/or was mutated returns back to normal and then the house door opens and in walks Perry Como with a riffle and he just says down the camera "Nobody messes with a Perry Como fan" before walking off into the sunset and Dan says "Perry? where are you going?" and Perry Como just looks over his shoulder and says "I go where I am needed" and *Here I go again by white snake plays over the credits* which is extra confusing because this episode aired in 1961 and here I go again by white snake was first recored in 1982...

Dan had it coming. He was an uncaring selfish husband. He should have realized that his thoughts and behavior would have negative consequence for his wife and others. It's also obvious that Dan has a problem with alcohol an issue that should have been addressed long before his confrontation with Anthony. In my opinion anyone regardless of the circumstance who harbors bad thoughts about a child is indeed a "bad man"
