good tip to hide the underneath short pieces is to make a teeny tiny pony tail on that first short layer..or bobby pin it in a little twist knot and than put the extensions right over that

Wow your tutorial was so helpful I recently had my hair recut and my stylist took it upon herself to take my aline all the way up to the nape of my neck. Once she did that i had no choice but to let her finish. She felt she was doing me a favor to remove the last of the dye left in My hair. I've been letting my hair go silver no more dye. @Leesh217 I double crown too!! I don't see too may others with it! The trick is when your blowdrying to put mousse and train your hair down. Then backcombing helps a lot too and of course making the extensions thinner will help as well!

I used to have hair really short I used to French braid or twist the bit at the bottom back of the head that really helped me to conceal the short bit at the bottom x

@Tr F it depends on the set of extensions, some are better than others. Also, if you clip the hair higher considering your hair is already long that will help too.

@Katelyn Cecelia the euronext remy hair is very thin and broken at the ends. If you have the non remy extensions they are much thicker but if you wear tem constantly they tangle so easily and more expensive. Remy is the way to go after years of trial and error with multiple sets of different brands.

hon you can cut your extensions in layers too match your shorter hair so, cut the extension that are on te top a few inces shorter than you have a more even layers do it on the second layers too if needed, so you dont have to use so much hair anymore intead of 8 pieces you could be off with 4 to 6 clip ins :) hope you like the tip, thanks for sharing with us.

I have the Euronext Premium Remy 14 inch and I kinda sorta like it. It was the first hair extensions I have gotten so I have nothing to compare them to but I do know that they tangle ALL the time and they have split ends. They are also super thin so they don't blend easily. How much are lush locks? Would I have to buy 2 sets to make them work? Thank you so much!

Hi , do you have any suggestions on products that give shine to the extensions like the silicone coating they have when you buy them for the first time but something that dries not like oils that tend to grab dust overtime and look dull and want to be washed again because i try to avoid washing them frequently to keep them in good condition for as long as possible :)

Argan oil is good for shine and softness. Because extensions aren't part of your natural hair, they don't get the natural oils from your scalp. So you need to give them a moisturizing treatment once a week or every 2 weeks to keep them from drying out and keeping them soft and silky.

Hey HairGirl! Love your videos! :) I have a question that may have been answered somewhere so forgive me for being repetitive if so. I have shoulder length hair but have it a pretty layered. Unfortunately I have a double crown, or two cowlicks (however you wanna term it) on the top of my head. so it's been really really hard for me to conceal wefts in the back :( I think I made my extensions too thick cause I sewed them together, so I may just need to redo them. Any other suggestions?

I have med long hair to begin with. To just above my bra line. I use extentions at times because my hair is fairly thin. When I wear it down tho it gets all ratty underneath if I don't comb it fairly often. Do you have any way to prevent this?

another tip if you have short hair like that you better curl them instead of straight because straight hair shows more direct layer in the hair then when you curl it it blends better and wont show the layers as much :)

Depends how much you want in, build them in until blend nicely,ebay and Amazon do them and so do most hair salons at a costlier price. Avereage is about £30-£45.00

The Sally's Euro Remy hair is very thin and dry, I wouldn't recommend it at all. Their other extensions are not Remy hair which means the cuticles are not running in the same direction. They tangle much easier and won't last as long as Remy hair. I believe Lush Locks are even less expensive.
