I'm really surprised that this movie didn't do much better than it did. I thought it was interesting, hilarious and visually stunning. It ended on quite a cliffhanger too, seemingly setting up a sequel but it was never to be. :(

When I was a kid and I asked my older brother if he wanted to play, he would sometimes say "I'd rather have a white hot sewing needle shoved in my eye." I always thought that was just something he came up with. Now, 30 years later, I finally see where it came from!

Loved this movie since I was a kid, I know my Dad saw it back in 1987 way before me and he truly enjoyed it back then, he liked those classic Sci-Fi flicks. It's the perfect mix of state of the art sci-fi/effects (by 1987's standards) and screwball comedy. It's also cool how Jack and Tuck at first dislike each other but they become pretty much like bro's and realise that they can depend on each other.
