I’ve been listening to this song several times a day almost every day since mid July. I’ve also been learning about the black panthers during that time. I’m ready Revolutionary Suicide right now, but the context didn’t make sense for me until now and it’s shifted this whole video into perspective. Of course this is just my personal interpretation of it: I don’t think it’s necessary to point out that the song is about the Black Panther Party because that’s pretty obvious. I do think it’s worth mentioning that I think the context for the first scene makes sense being inspired by Huey Newton’s visit to Kaiser Hopsital after being accused of being in a police shootout that resulted in the death of officer John Frey. When Huey was stopped by police and being arrested, he was shot in the stomach by one of the officers. He was taken to Kaiser Hospital and was immediately chained to the examining table and beaten on by the police. According to Huey in his book, police also was continually harassed by police during his recovery but that’s all explained in Revolutionary Suicide. Taking that event into account and it all sort of clicks into perspective.

I was speechless at first, because I felt every word you said. You brought my emotions to life. I was saying the hook with you by the middle. As to everything that was said. All I can say is Thank You

@@ChannelMan434 a rap group needs more rappers. When there is only one vocalist and the rest are producers/play instruments it's a band

LordGabbe Personally, I would classify clipping as a rap group, mainly because they are a group that primarily makes rap centric material. In my personal way of classification, I would consider a group of rappers as a rap collective.
