That, and I think there were fast food stops along the way. FFG said that photo of the second gas station is right across from orange julep. 🤔 plus all the food places at the airport. and I think the endless gravy place is inside the airport? She only showed the bag of beef jerky, but she knew she only had one seat and that tray table wasn’t going down = no food service. I’m sure she ate at multiple places before the flight, and also at Doha airport.

Depends on her dosage and tolerance but 100mg in an edible is a lot for an average person.. 50mg usually has me buzzed 4ish hours and i can feel a weird calm buzzing all over my body for prob a day after. Takes about 30 minutes to hit. I have diagnosed conditions for my weed usage tho 😂 Edit: typo

I totally get her anxiety. I describe it as being inside a huge hunk of metal in the middle of the sky. The 1st time I flew I totally freaked out and jumped out of my skin when they turned the engines on, and then totally panicked at some point later during turbulence. Bad anxiety has the opposite effect on me and I feel sick and cannot eat (my son is the same), so I sat there on a long haul flight, ate nothing and did nothing only stare into space waiting for it to be over. I could never sit there and watch some trivial stuff on a screen for entertainment...just wouldn't be able to concentrate. She has even more anxiety regarding having to move around, use the bathroom, get belt extenders etc, so I feel for her. It's horrible. Whether you like her or not, surely people can sympathise with her anxiety about flying. It's something she has to do as she can't exactly take a bus from Kuwait to Canada.

In my opinion, visa run, excuse to overeat wrong foods for her without supervision, definitely edibles, but I will say it could be both anxiety meds and edibles. I have a friend who is very anxious about flying. I’ve seen this friend take 2 different types of prescribed anxiety meds and still be wired for the flight. I also wonder about her return ticket (which I think is needed for a tourist visa) and whether that has an end date with the airline. Could be another reason to do a visa run to Canada on occasion, as in use it or lose it. Happy 2025 Sansa.

Imho, simple planned & required visa run + avoiding "absentia". Required to be in Canada at least once every so many days (217 or 277 can't remember, but it's 7-8 months.. to show residency/perfectly lining up w/ April trip) to maintain status of free healthcare.
