Love the kids but storytelling by dialogue is a killer. All that trash talking is just... ugh. Not my favourite type of storytelling. Even at 1.5 ... Just because the boy is his doesn't mean the woman is the boy's mother. At least the ML and his mother have a bit of savvy.
