No doubt, this (the song) is one of the most amazing creation of Arabian Night's, however, try the original song in the animated show - it is 10x better than this, this is still amazing but the original, damn, that's just so better and I don't even know why - the singers voice, his Arabic accent.. maybe that.

Will Smith memes aside, he did such a fantastic job filling the shoes after Robin Williams. He portrayed Genie in his own way without tarnishing what Robin Williams did with the character. You'd be a fool to think Will didn't understand how critical people would be of his role as Genie.

I have to say, i didn't watch original Aladdin before this live action (!!!), and when the 2:30 hit, i got goosebumps all over. Since I didnt have an original movie to compare with, for me this was a superb film.

I watched the original countless times as a kid, and Jafar was always one of my favorite movie villains. When the live-action version came out, I was incredibly proud and excited that someone from my country was cast in the role. But in hindsight, I think they should have chosen a different actor. Kenzari just doesn’t capture the same intimidating presence, either in his voice or his appearance. The film was solid overall, though, and this intro gave me chills.

First time I heard this song I was in the car on my way back home with my family. I had my headphones on, it was late, I was tired. THE moment I heard the first seconds of this song, I was like '' HMMMMMMMM interesting, show me more'' Dude...I fell in a TRANCE. I had goosebumps- I loved it so much I wasn't tired anymore. Since that day, I listen to this song and I keep loving it. TYSM Will Smith u made my days better.
